Whats for you the worst setting with the color red?

I want to see the worst settings of other players and it isnt easy to decide between every setting.

Worst one would be Custom Scenario for me, since thats usually a no-go due to the unfair setup

For me it's army cap but probably because i haven't learned to play it properly

Would go with no split, because you would need to split your armies to take 2 separate bonuses. It also becomes harder to fully clear an Enemy bonus, favoring defense a bit.

Local Deployment. The others can be redeemed with good templates but LD just gets disproportionately tedious in a way that outweighs any strategic value I can see.

Unless you add commerce too, it becomes hell.

I mostly play local deployment and love it but only on maps up to about 130 squares
It needs far more skill both tactics and strategy

And an autopilot.

Based on MDL templates alone, no-split have the lowest amount of usages with only 1 template out of 50.
So, it's clearly the worst (or maybe not but it's the most difficult to make right)

In order from best to worst:

Army cap: Makes for interesting fundamental change to the game. Only one I would consider a net positive in terms of generating interesting games.

No-split mode: Has some interesting strategic ramifications, double borders are much less powerful, big stacks are easier to handle, expansion has to be carefully planned. Overall I'd say generally makes for less interesting combat than standard settings but I like it better than what follows.

Non default-kill rates: I'm not a fan. Reverse kill rates makes for an attack heavy game, whereas higher defensive kill rates makes the game unplayable. Reverse kill rates does have its merits, this more along the lines of me fundamentally not liking it.

Multi-attack: Turns basically any template into a predictathon. It's telling that the only multi-attack template considered remotely strategic also has army cap to mitigate multi-attack.

Local-deployment: Pain. While multi-attack is difficult to make strategic it is at least fun. LD is just not fun.

Any template is either a lotto or predictathon, if both side are skilled enough.
