I just started a new level, and the money bonuses are practically zilch. I'm up to 12k/s for armies, and 120/s for money. is that unique to the map I'm playing (rise and fall of roman empire) or has there been an update in the last month that has reduced cash across the board?

From my experience (though, I haven't got to this specific map yet), money and army income is always all over the place. Sometimes I have a hard time getting to a decent army income level, other times I have barely any money. And this independent of techs and advancements. So, I'd assume that this is map specific or strategy specific (perhaps the situation would be more even if you conquered the territories in another order?). BUT, a week or so ago there in fact was an update that changed the maps.

I think I found my answer. today's update says money bonuses are returning to what they were 2 updates ago. looks like I squeezed in for the experiment. so far I'm cool with that,I kind of like the changeup. we'll see if i say the same thing two weeks from now.

Playing v14 with new smaller bonuses, it seems to not change the pace of conquering the map at all. Though, selling items is more efficient and profitable now. :D
