Fed up with someone always jumping on the 9 coin game that I joined first, I decided to block him and create a similar game, He joined almost immediately despite being blocked, is there a way I can prevent this? It seems there is a way for people who are blocked to get round it for coin games, is that the case? Any advice?

TMK, blocking means you can't see their activity. Unless they've blocked you also, they can still your stuff.

Blocking does avoid people from joining your games.

It does NOT work with tournaments, ladders, QM and coin games to avoid abuse.
Otherwise blocking people who consistently beat you, would allow you to game the system and prey on the weak.

Thank you for that. I totally get your point about tournaments/Quick match. however, allowing blocked people to join your one -off coin games allows exactly what you don't want, prey on the weak.

To prevent this issue, you could create a game with 2 open seats and wait for the other person to join first. If its whoever you dont want to play with, you can simply delete the game and get your coins refunded. Otherwise, you can join the game yourself and play it.

You can create a coin game with 1000 +1000 reinforcement cards/ turn and make surrendered players turn into AI. Call it rematch.
Invite him, surrender. He becomes busy and you can play other people.

Edit: or nicely ask him to not join. Whatever fits you more.

Blocklist doesn't work for coin games, but i've noticed there's a way to block single person from joining your game (and it seems that's what you are looking for).
Just create your game with mentioned player already invited and immediately remove him (replace with open seat). He won't be able to join it. I guess it some kind of bug, but well ;)

Moderate success with creating a game. I spend most of it deleting and re-creating as a LEvel 61 Admiral Akbar keeps joining it to wind me up. Have politely asked him to stop trolling me to no avail. driving me crazy that he gets kick out of torturing me. I now have resorted to spelling out his name in the title to shame him into leaving me alone. No success yet.
