How many games have been played on Warlight? Preferably we could make the timeline be from the conception of the site to Jan 30th, 2012, at midnight on the system time.

Also, what year seems to have been the best year in terms of how many games played?

Yeah, game ID is a mysterious thing... It does not assign numbers to new games in any relevant order, so only Fizzer knows how many games where played...

The game ID didn't start at 1. Also some games are deleted or their players never accept them. Therefore, it's not a reliable way of telling how many games have been played.

The actual number right now is 2,479,268. This is only counting multi-player games. I don't have data year-by-year easily accessible, but I'm sure that each year was higher than the previous.

That's a shame, ohwell. I was sort've hoping you'd have some sort of distinction in your archive to check finished games. That's quite a large number though ^^

That is a very large number, especially considering the most experianced players only have 5000+ games.

Fizzer, how many accounts are there on the site? Obviously a lot would be inactive or duds but it's still interesting.

Beelze has like 10.000 played games, so that's already more then 5000 at most.

If the average account has 200 games (that includes the dozens of double account with less than 20 games), there would be around 12000 accounts.

That's a lot of games.
