1 v 1 on scrabble map - pick 4 territs to start.

Somehow the territs he picked gave him +10 on the first round (as opposed to +5 which is standard or +6 if you have the middle square).

Watch out for this joker. Cheap way to rack up wins if you ask me.

2) he did not cheat - before you discredit other players, check bonusses on the map - It is your fault if you don't recognize the best start - you can get +11 on 1st turn with "tripple letter tile bonus" plus what you called the middle square. (read bonus information in the middle of the lower part of the map)

3) There are spoiled maps - I once lost on Big Usa map with HQs in a tourney, because i did not know about one teritorry, which had broken connections or something and gave combination bonus without the need of controlling stars (theoretically necessary to get that bonus). Scrabble on the other hand is a very simple map and as far as i know there are no errors in it.

Why would you even want to play 1vs1 scrabble anyway ??
That game just ends up in a juggernaught haul and stop at the end-game, quite boring actually :P
