Hot Jings! The guys far smarter than me have made a script and literally, O.M.G. The output is beautiful 3v3 Europe sb, forksandwich, DrApe defeated FALSTAFF, ARand0mPlayer, _ - https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=25971263Just the one game finishing here, even though 3 were created at the same time. Just remember folks, there's no prize for finishing first, and slow playing the first games causes a high game load later on. Here, everybody mirrored in their teams, even both teams matching the classic 1,2, islands. There we differed, MH going for Denmark and a high Germany counter with 101st preferring Switzerland and the centre. Picks happen and looking at it from 101st perspective. You can't be unhappy with that, yes _'s picks (yes, that is their game name) has a bordered pick, a counter pick in Karelia and a holiday resort in Bologna but his best pick is Iceland. With full deploys he can hold up whichever player is in Ireland and gets on top if a teammate can also challenge the player in Ireland. Otherwise, they have to like the centre, they crammed their picks there and gain its reward. ARand0mPlayer coming up tops with the FTB Austria. From MH side, from Bucharest to Cern is a foggy mess, but they're not so far away they can't get there. DrApe has possibilities for income with Ireland, Portugal, or even BG, SB a lovely lucky baltic combo and Fork a clear Danish take. - Turn One Falstaff goes hard on Russia expecting the two MH picks to have done something, but finds nothing _ goes hard on Ireland, finding a sleeping DrApe ARand0mPlayer takes his spots Meanwhile MH choose baltic, Norway and BG Income advantage +3 101st -Turn Two DrApe takes his BG but loses Ireland, not a loss when SB covers iceland from Norway and DrApe gets into Belgium as compensation ARand0mPlayer takes Finland but finds himself sandwiched between both the sets SB took Falstaff keeps the drive into Russia _ clears Ireland but loses a man in Belgium Fork hammers into Slovakia for no cigar as it's not being taken MH over swing the Income advantage coming out +2 Turn 3 _ completes Ireland but the only contribution to the fight comes from sending 1 to support Finland SB and Falstaff dance in Russia, advantage SB as he's playing with less deploy Falstaff moves on Belgium to challenge DrApe, this plays into MH hands as it's one less neutral for DrApe to take to get back into the game with BG Fork moves his stack to border Czechia Surprisingly no breaks in Finland vs Norway+Baltics 101st swing back 2 on the income leaving it all square Turn 4 _ goes hard in Iceland but doesn't manage to take, countering the counter that never came costing 3 income next turn. Falstaff wins Russia, but gains no income and his new dance partner Fork moves across to Kostroma. Fork smashes Czechia unopposed for a break DrApe goes greedy adding Portugal and Belgium for a big income advantage FalStaff deploys hard against Belgium, but does nothing, defending his +2 and maintaining a double border into Belgium ARand0mPlayer swings and miss in Baltic but doesn't even hit Norway. I hate to say high level games come down to guesses but they got this one wrong. Norway won't hold vs Iceland+Finland, but then neither will baltic hold vs Lenningrad but it did. SB firing back with enough delays and taking a decisive break of Finland. MH power ahead on income with an extra 11 deploy for next turn. Turn Five 101st level it out, taking back Lenningrad to load the gun against baltic, breaking Belgium, breaking Norway income levels out to +1MH but there are definitely more MH troops on the map and MH definitely has safer bonuses going forward. Fork chooses to fight in Russia and holding SK, HU, CZ for no deploy DrApe goes hard to the centre SB goes hard in N Norway, for no gain against a ARand0mPlayer who saw it coming. Falstaff loses a stack _ completes Iceland and breaks Norway, but is at T5 it already feels late to the party Turn Six The end of all things. DrApe retakes a now safe Belgium and breaks the Swiss Fork stays safe in the centre and adds a Russian holding SB stacks up to fend off elimination long term and be able to block the baltic/Finland _ breaks the Baltic and moves on Denmark but it's too late, they are cleaning up the party and his teammates are passed out on base income. 3v3 Europa Magna lineal2012, Vindude, Easyfragger defeated Ze, Oversea, Zev - https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=26038535Knowing far less about this template, like most us(!), the commentary will be a bit less knowledgeable, a bit less accurate. VIWs picks end up with far more income than FC (a full 5 deploy for T1) VIW add another income advantage for T2, these early deployment advantages count for so much more than later game. Looking closely, choosing a -2 for #1 pick when there are two A sets seems poor. Even to take the uncontested Mesopotamia and block the start is a slow play and not a #1 pick. For FC they managed to pick get their 4, 5, 5 picks. Not picking deep a sure sign of different strategy and coming out with a loss suggests a change is needed. Contrasting to VIW with 8, 9, 3 However, getting your shallowest pick of 1,2,3 can also be amazing. Vindude slots his combo and hits 11 income EasyFragger also shooting his combo for a +11. That's 11 troops more for VIW for the start of T2. Turn Two Vindude slams Ibossim but too hard and allows Carthage to be countered. EasyFragger slams into Ze in Denmark, who blocks in Germany but retains a -1 for board position And some general growth goes on across the board FC coming back to within 2 on income/turn Turn 3 FC drop a full 4 blockades. They're keeping the income close with the slash and burn game play but board positions are being lost and there's already that 13 income disadvantage from picks EasyFragger going like a tank on this one and taking what anything close Lineal and Oversea picking the same border to stack and attack and only tumbleweed seen on the Egyptian border Turn Four Lineal makes the same play with a break this time, Oversea taking a break from Egypt net 0 But Carthage falls, and +2 for VIW EasyFragger shows their full power and nothing stands against it. FC losing in all skirmishes while they have a safe Egypt+Mesopotamian it's not developed and it's not enough. GG VIW Every public game of Europa Magna increases the playing standard of all who play, all who review and all who spy them out. We'll be expecting closer matches soon! Current Standings:

1v1 Malvia SerFen defeated Sandokan - https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=26399422I think you could spend more time examining that one than they played it! Sadly, I know nothing of this map. Sandokan taking an easy +1 but Serfen with a better counter of a +2. T2 a predict from Sandokan misses as Serfen holds in the NW and hastily plan C of a +4 in the east goes into effect. Serfen adding to their income advantage. It remains level in T5, with Serfen having more troops on the board but Sandokan misses a 2nd predict looking for Serfen's income. Turn Six and Serfen lands the killing blow, eliminating Sandokan from the NW. Current Standings:

1v1 Strat ME BellRO defeated Mr.Carpenter - https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=26431259Fairly equal picks, each looking at board the same way, with Mr.Carpenter preferring mutual support/clustering and BellRo liking a safe East China. They take income in two, always critical! And turn 3 BellRO makes a killing play into Antartica. The block in T4 just pens in Mr.Carpenter, as long as he can remain alive in the Scan/WR fight BellRO looks in good position. And check out that last move t4. 5 v 4, very close to a regional elimination and winning the game for Mr.Carpenter. They play on, it's not decided by this point but the player adding W China compared to S Africa has the advantage. There's a good Svalbard block and Mr C's stack starts the march on WC but T13 it turns back. Turn Twelve BellRO's order delay card finishing the fight as he swallows the stack guarding Southern Africa. Lord Syvedyas defeated Emu Pub - https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=26431257I think the script picked up the wrong game? Are we sure this is B? That's not the Emu that regularily beats me drunk, maybe that was the problem! To be fair to Emu, he's a high chance to complete. But Lord Syvedyas has no gain for the extra spot in europe, it doesn't set up a T3 completion. Turn Three We get to where we all expected to be at the end of T2 and they're playing at a good speed. Turn Four Emu decides there's nothing in WR and heads to Asia Lord Syvedyas decides it's about time to finally try and take WR Certainly putting the breaks on Emu as his stack is wrong footed. Turn Five Emu thinking Lord has WR with combo from CR and moves into CR. He's met by a neutral 4 start and rewarding with no double border. He plows on in T5 to get a double border, taking the 4 neutral in his stride. But Lord has been pumping out an extra man for a while and with WR added and Caucasus being watched over, the time is ticking on Emu's chances T7 Emu takes West US to level the income, but loses stack power in the Russias, doesn't get a cheeky break with his 2 probes but Lord has found West Africa. There's a nice smash of a block in Venezuela by Lord in T10 that truly finishes the game, East US will not be overrun by Emus Current Standings:

I hate this base 0 setting :) But these players must have trained for it, dreamed of it and dare i say it, enjoyed it? Sadly, it's the first game lacking any gg. Phobos takes an early lead with his California uncontested set backed up by his French Quebec cedar plantation, while Andre preferred the rainforests and a couple of islands. Weekly updates? You'd better believe it! #HastagBlessed Top of the script and top of my heart is 3v3 Europe Enkeveh, sanjo91, Johnnygoodboy defeated Maxbag, Phaeril, Wazz - https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=25971264Oh dear FC. Both teams going for a mirror, with perhaps the odd mistake that doesn't seem planned, at least it doesn't show for any gain. Both teams knowing FTB Denmark is worth it at #1, especially so with the counters being so far away (3 turns) But then we walk in the wild. Picking goes AabBCccCBbaA or A12BC33CB21A or any way you wish to write it, but who ever loses first pick gets the next two. On 3v3 Europe ladder settings when you choose FTB Denmark you slot #2,#3 in the islands, you lose Denmark you gain the islands. It's classical picking, it's the best picking. Here it doesn't actually effect the game as they got Denmark they'll always lose the islands but had they lost out Denmark the game would be over on picks. If you can find a way to beat islands it you need to bring home the _W_ and here FC did not. They chose the motherland Russia tactic. Which can be good, but more of a 456 and here NE Russia is in the game and needs to be taken, and baltics and finland and belarus and it's not looking you'll be able to block out the East enough to score all the income fast enough and safe enough. But they try, I'll even go ahead and crown somebody the Tsar Turn 1 Lu Fredd start with the islands = 6 and scattered picks across the board, no BG and no Portugal nor Denmark FC obviously with Denmark, BG, Portugal. = 9 but BG taking a few turns Lu Fredd's start require a defender against motherland Russia and with Maxbag stuck holding the centre it is left for Enkeveh to take the call and moves up on Vologda. That + Leningrad really control the board out there. sanjo91 doubles up taking out Austria to make Switzerland a bit safer Johnnygoodboy taking the call to defend SK and worry CZ, HU FC starts force the taking of Denmark in one, losing Austria when Lu Fredd go all in there Wazz defends the Baltics which has to look a bit suspicious but Enkeveh has moved off Maxbag blocking out CZ for a hold Turn Two Enkeveh can do nothing about the suspicious stack in the baltics that duly takes Belarus, some good intel work should pick up what's going on there. Enkeveh can and does camp WC Russia as Johnny is expelled. The French not having diplomatic immunity in Maxbag's Russia! Phaeril adds Belgium and sets up BG but is immediately met with Sanjo at a double border. Sanjo and Enkeveh add their islands Maxbag and Johnny trade blows in Czechia FC with initial income advantage +9 v +6, but half the nine doesn't border the enemy and Belgium has a double border to solve Turn 3 Phaeril takes the safer BG giving up Belgium, MVP neutral killer Mr P! Enkeveh changes from being the Russian aggressor to driving hard on Denmark. They'll really know 3/4 Phaeril's starts and should be placing him on BG. This is good play setting up a 2v1 opportunity and also good play as they avoid a fight with Wazz, as long as they can win before Wazz wins solo they're doing good. Enkeveh also manages to add a safe Balkans +3 knowing only Max stuck on base and stuck with a Johnny on his back is anywhere nearby. Wazz sets up Baltics and moves north, seems a bit defensive but it's safe play, you haven't poured 3 starts into Belarus to lose in this fast. Max and Johnny seeing just how far they stay on base. The centre really was avoided this game Income levels out, but the coming 2v1 and Wazz's cluster start and lack of input are hurting FC Turn 4 This looks a well orgainised turn by Lu Fredd They get Northern Norway right, so right they probably know it's Max on base beside They get southern Norway right They march on the triple BG border with Johnny topping up Sanjo They fix Belgium ready for a take next turn Enkeveh avoids the coming stack and gets a free pass into Udmurtia, he's just buying time, no deploy needed and Russia is still not a threat For FC it's also a better turn, but it can't go right playing 2v3 when they enemy know what's up Max sets up Portugal, runs in Czechia but is found out in N Norway Wazz finally starts moving to the centre to take over from Max and get into the game, he adds baltics and has a lovely empire Phaeril goes hard for Norway but not hard enough, Lu Fredd know your 4 starts, they have your number mate! Incomes are still level but it's the same story, we're looking at another turn of 2v3 Udmurtia being safe Turn Five Southern Norway a tight hold, but when it's a tight hold here you allow your teammate to take an uncontested Belgium. Sanjo also arriving at Walachia and the death of all things Bulgarian. Enkeveh keeps a hold in Russia but Wazz has caught up and next turn will be tight Johnny throws himself under Wazz but a turn of delay here is great for Lu Fredd long term Max with a checky elimination attempt in Russia but we all know your on base; don't do that ;-) Wazz starting to call themselves a Tsar and setting up W Russia. Turn Six It's still remarkably tight, we'll end this turn tied on income 31=31 But Wazz is finding his teammates heavier and heavier to carry. BG dies, allowing Denmark to survive a few turns more, but Phaeril is in a death spiral. He'll be able to tie up some Enkeveh income but isn't a threat. Maxbag takes Portugal but his other starts are no use. His Russia holdings to be taken by Wazz and his Czechia start not much use to anyone but Wazz. A slog to Freistaat Bayern and stack what he can is the best i can see for him, but is it helping their cause? Wazz adds 4 more in Russia, and eliminates Enkeveh!! Hurrah!! Until Enkeveh immediately reappears in Karelia with access to the powerful triple, quad and cintiqo borders! Max might have been better blocking out this easy route for Enkeveh back into Russia Johnny with not many options at least poses the question to Wazz as he moves towards Belarus Turn Se7en WarZone is a game of questions. The more questions you pose to the enemy, the more times they get it wrong. For FC they have one route to win, motherland Russia, Wazz running solo. But they have two questions, is it Enkeveh from the north or Sanjo from the south? Enkeveh has far better multiple options with the powerful multi borders. Sanjo looking at a single border. FC and Wazz don't get it right, Sanjo gets his solo border to Brest and Enkeveh cracks Denmark. Wazz gets a big stack a turn away from a solo Norwegian border. Lu fred getting game winning positions. I said in T6 that Max shouldn't be doing anything with WCR and it should be left for Wazz. At the end of T7 Max has 11 income and doesn't border an enemy. FC will be ahead 1 income at the end of this turn but Max is sending postcards and giving the troops R+R. Lu Fredd have managed the game very well to keep Wazz then Max out of it. Now they even have elimination chances of Phaeril Would turn 8 go better if Wazz had another +3? If he had another set of delays? Well, attacking 2nd move probably not. But Sanjo is there with the questions. Sanjo had first move, would he run to Podlassie and triple border, or Zhitomir and double border? FC have seen how Lu Fredd played and they imagine he would, but Lu Fredd keep their stategy mixed with a hold and late attack. Belarus breaks and a fantastic guess in Austria adds icing to the cake. Sanjo adds Switzerland 7 turns after making it safe, and sets up a safe BG. A decent match up Poor Current Standings:

Week 2 of a very long CL season, will I remain looking better than you let's fight? Not a chance!! 3v3 Europa Magna pip, Banana, SerFen defeated lineal2012, Vindude, Easyfragger - https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=26219837Gotta love a bit of INSS teamplay, some of the hardest picking around. And with Magna being new to many of us there's a lot of play testing going on. Here VIW went for a good spot, good combo and block routine. Easyfragger going 1,2 is powerful assuming he gets his one, but is Paraitonion even close to a 2 pick when it's just blockaded? Turns out Easy doesn't get his first pick and so his first on board pick is a -3 Vindude going for a more classical 1,2 in the black set of Italia, getting half. He also goes for a nice backup C set combo in the NE. Lineal another 1,2 Black set and bordering, but Galatia Et Cappadocia (B set) is worth a 2nd pick and he gets his combo 1:3 combos does not a win make Blitz Spread the black sets, Pip in the Italia combo sharing half with Vindude Pip and Banana going 1,2,3 in the others. Of the 5 black A set picks, Blitz get 3 Of perhaps the 2nd best sets, the E sets VIW get 2 to Blitz's 1 Blitz however do pick up a combo block with Illyria But what does the board look like after picks? VIW have got limited knowledge of the board, Vindude has a very slow 3 turn take to get 2 income and is else wise stuck EasyFragger has a good spain and french start, but has a -3 that needs to counter Egypt Lineal far ahead of their teammates with his combo and a nice Germany minor to counter Germany Major. For Blitz the board is a bit better, Pip starts on 2 but has FTB for no deploy +2 Banana has the East, two B sets when he wants and Egpyt, i like these 3 SerFen Africa is a good start with a fight to come in Germany Turn One Everyone does sensible stuff and 4 blockades from poor sets reduce civilization. The barbarian neutrals are retaking the board! Even a sensible gift in Italia to get their other player into the game Each team has the intel the NE C set is shared, each retreat and block with a spare to leave it with 8. I like VIW's position but already Vindude is massively the short runner Turn Two Vindude makes the most of their minor holdings, advances in his slow safe +2 and blocks Carthage hard. Certainly looks to have needed a blockade there, I doubt Corsica holds and if Carthage attack was blocked you're going nowhere anyway. Easy does the best they can in Alexandria, takes a card piece and blocks but only 8 is not the set destroying heartache in MME. Italia is again gifted with Easy the third VIW to hold it in 3 turns. Lineal passively watches Germany Major get away but gets good growth Blitz and Banana gets the most kills possible in Alexandria, leaving a small blockade to deal with and moving to 11 income Pip fires late into Corsica for an easy break SerFen works Thracia but his greed costs him carthage. VIW have the income advantage here, but i like Blitz's position. There's not much needed for significant revenue swings Turn Three Third turn in a row that VIW gift Italia, it's a game of musical chairs and it's back to the original owner. I'm sure they were expecting to defend with +8 next turn but nobody told Vindude that Banana is counting and waiting. Aktau is Blitzed away and already Vindude is an elimination prospect. Lineal finally uses his great income and slams the single Blitzman holding Germany Major. and is met by a blockade. Last turns hold has cost the chance of getting a +2, momentum was lost. The blockade of 12 isn't insurmountable but that's 9 free troops working for Blitz. Germany Minor is also added and Lineal is the game's biggest army With no enemy Easy takes another +2 set and advances toward Carthage and the fight, the 2nd biggest player. With the two biggest players have VIW set themselves up? I do not think so, this template has a sanction card, this template has +6 base and they are not going to finish the game with 3 teammates also costing them card pieces. Blitz count out Vindude's slow trek across the steppes and counter, i guess it could be argued they over edged but Banana had nowhere else to drop a man, they start chipping away at the 8 in Alexandria.Pip works Corsica and SerFen grows Turn Four Vindude blocks his last territory and starts to run his commander, but by running he also gives up 2 income to the enemy holding 3/4 A set Italia. Lineal pushes back against the barbarian hordes and borders Banana's +2 from either side. Easy adds another +2 and tops up his border stack. There's nothing here I see as bad play, but there's no questions being asked of Blitz. The Media Magna being approached from both sides, Blitz can't defend it but they'll turn it into a Lineal counter otherwise just small stacks. Blitz are going to take out Vindude and there isnt a plan to get more borders on Pip (Massalia). The fog covers so much of the map, but they do have the income and a large Spainish/French/German empire. Blitz, Pip going for blood with Vindude, Banana growing and takes Alexandria and Serfen growing and supporting Corsica. Their board position, equal income and growth prospects are looking great! Turn Five Vindude's options are now limited to the chat box Lineal gets it wrong and doesnt kill Banana's stack but does get the break and adds 4 income Easy drops a tonne on the border and gets rewarded with a stack kill Pip gets a kill badge but fires his stack off for no reason, i can't think of any scenario that works. Why would Easy not deploy 2 turns in a row? If you have intel you have to know where they are, Easy has nothing useful to take, pairs of +1's or slow take C sets. SerFen starts growing like he's already got the win Banana guesses right with his stack but is a little short and doesn't break through with 3 more delays he could have. But on these settings there's very little point. He breaks the +2 and gets -2 for his efforts, net swing none! End of this round and Blitz are 3 matching Princes with 13 each. Only 5 ahead but we're about to see a sanction knock 5 more off the income and the board is Blitz's for growth. Turn Six For a moment i thought Banana had played it right and held onto Rhaga with his stack, but no an aggressive attack that will gain net nothing was made. There's no need for solo heroics here, follow through the 3v2, card piece them to death. SerFen leeches like a plague all around him sending 6 to Corsica where he does something for the war effort Pip does the only thing he can with his kill stack and takes S italy. VIW fightback with a block of Ibitha/Ibossim and transfer their stack to pressure Carthage. Move order lines them up perfectly for next time. Lineal hammers Banana but finishes the turn with a case of the just one more man syndrome. Turn Se7en. We're here, it's been going since early, some say the picks but finally the game can be called for Blitz. They get Banana's spot, they chip away at Easy's stack the simple and standard whoever commands the most troops wins, starts to bite. Blitz finish the turn +11 with a 2v1 to retake carthage an an unchallenged +2 to come. Current Standings:

1v1 Guiroma Bbraw defeated René Descartes - https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=26482858Blink and you miss it. Rene plants his whole game plan on NORTH ITALY. He knows it isnt safe from the picks and goes, NORTH ITALY FTB. Fantastic income, if he can just predict every turn until he breaks Aventicum this one is in the bag. And just remember, Random move order <evil!> Turn 2 Bbraw goes for the hold and gains as 5's smack him, gaining back all the extra income Rene has and more. NORTH ITALY holds. Turn 3 Bbraw goes for a late hit managing to out delay master Rene but it isn't enough, but another kill gained. NORTH ITALY holds. Turn 4 Rene forgets the game hinges on NORTH ITALY and does something in Thracia. NORTH ITALY doesn't hold. GG chaps Current Standings:

Jeez, those territory names are fair weird with all them numbers. I could tell you which I've been to, couple of holidays in the north, a road trip from Spain to Italy. And I once flew to Berlin, and got a lift to Warsaw via the PARIS RING ROAD. For our geographically challenged friends (much like the driver!!) that was the WRONG way! So, it seems very close on DrApe's game. But it's base 4 and very much a low income gain. Every man needs to count and DrApe is playing in the wrong division. DrApe takes a close game showing the power of hitting them after they hit you Much like DrApe should be in A so should Masters! #Master [QB] finds himself in B and proceeds to play better and 16minute faster than Bbraw. QB's covering starts giving the early advantage that Braw's board position doesn't bring. Current Standings:

Script, pretty, yadda yadda yadda https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=26038533Lu Fredd have taken one against Blitz, in 3v3 Europa Magna Lu Fredd went for a full mirror, even with the available combos. Can't knock it when it beats Blitz They chose to give up the FTB Black A set Egypt (7,8) Blitz far more classical and looking at the board combos They didn't try to get the FTB Black A set Egypt, but they did go 1 spot for the early counter and a later for intel (1,4) 18 picks later and what do we think of their efforts Blitz get the strong Egpyt combo, but it's split. Almost everybody has a dance partner, advantage to Lu Fredd when CalmWaters vs Banana has got themselves a B set combo start. Lost when CalmWaters 3rd start also borders pip Turn One Blitz win Belgium, But look in shape to take Mesopotamian (Black A set, gold dust on this map) Interesting double blockade up in Poland. Advantage Blitz who block small and run, compared to Lu Fredd who drop a 24 wasteland on the board and lose control over Germany Some sensible moving around and everybody makes their starts work, overcoming the negatives and we're all back up to base Turn Two Pip is like a gym bunny on roids and he grows with everything he has, he goes big up to +13 but alifenorm chops at the kness and pegs it back to +11 alifenorm also is fighting the good fight in Egypt as he's double-upped on, keeps it sneaking giving him and both his opps a piece of the -2 Calmwaters presses the advantage in mesopotamian while Banana runs, prefering to protect Egypt Turn Three Banana sorts Egypt and Libiya, our own pharaoh. alifenorm doesn't get any luck on the shores of the Med but looks in better shape in Afghanistan. It does look if you're going to block half Italia and leave yourself stackless, that you should block North Italy at the same time. Much easier solving problems before they get problematic SamWise is getting bored and bashes more neutrals Alifenorm gets first move in Meso looking in decent (yet slow shape) For Blitz, Pip gets the job done in Italy, and enjoys his +11 income Banana does really well as pharaoh SerFen has supported and really just has a couple of 1's Turn Four Calm and Same continue to spread like covid, Sam knowing where SerFen is and going big and sage alifenorm struggles but a clever gift with a forgotten attack teammates swings 3 income and is a good result Pip adds N Italy uncontested Banana goes harder than he should against alife and loses a turn of momentum toward carthage, and doesnt attack teammate SerFen tries to grow but isn't rewarded with any safe options Turn Five alifenorm looks to hold on, staving off elimination but trying to be the biggest pain possible Meanwhile SerFen learns how it feels as he gets removed from the centre; but the way in which his set is taken blocks off the chance for Blitz to go 2v1 on Sam. Instead Pip has 2 fronts against Sam, Sam with more more troops but Pip with a stack of 10 a turn a way and +3 income(*). And Calm going toe to toe with Banana, equal and opposite to the other match up Calm has the +4 income(*) while Banana has more troops. Both teams have had full card pieces and both sanction the right player, both match ups are equalized in income but with Blitz having the most troops Turn Six Sam does a great block of the pass at Singidun, protecting his income, blocking away 20 Pip soldiers and stopping Pip taking any gain from his E set. Calm's gift to Sam holds and now we're going to see 2v1, Sam+Calm vs Banana Sam gifts a safe spot for alifenorm but it comes at a high price next turn of -3 Pip's half italia set is broken with no defence and it sets up an easy blockade for Pip next turn, if Pip can find somewhere else to fight SerFen and alifenorm do some stuff in the corner, but their teammates really just want the card pieces from their trading of blows Banana stretches toward Carthage and some useful late income gains Turn Se7en Banana keeps stretching for carthage, a couple of turns later than Blitz wanted but finally finds the sweet spot of +2, sadly sitting at 2v1 he loses 2 from Egypt and is crumbling Pip has a stack of 20 in the the hinterlands, probably being drilled hard by the master of arms but they're really doing very little for the cause. As there really isn't an enemy to fight he ploughs back into Italia, but Lu Fredd have it counted and block big. Once more, Pip is chasing shadows Sam is heavily supporting alifenorm's safety gift with 4 supports and hammers Banana, Calm gets the break (one of them was) and SerFen v alifenorm swings towards SerFen as he takes a +3 a turn before alifenorm is given a safe one Turn Eight Blitz have been enjoying income advantage for a long time, but haven't been able to land many kills with Pip off stuck in the north, Banana is being gutted faster than his blockades can hold. Lu Fredd take the income lead and Pip adds some low value sets but is getting bigger. SerFen vs alifenorm remains an interesting sideshow, perhaps finally alifenorm is edging it, as his +3 is safe but they're both +10 and they're both taking card pieces every turn, great contributions to the cause. Turn NiNe Banana Splits and heads to the corner, trampling any neutrals in the way. Pip finally smashes a big blockade to get back into the fight and looks to do some damage to Sam. Calm clears up the banana milkshake and looks for their next opponent. Calm at a dangerous +22 but the only thing on the borders is neutrals. alifenorm and SerFen continue to add card pieces, the first sanctions wear off, Lu Fredd send it straight back onto Pip while Blitz swap from Calm to Sam. Even though Calm is bigger it looks to be the right decision, Pip can break Sam and swing some income while Calm is just working the weak sets, blockades and chasing shadows. BUT, the income has well and truly swung towards Lu Fredd and Blitz have two players feeling the heat Turn Ten As they were, Banana putting as much distance between him and elimination but manages to throw up a quick wall in carthage that holds to slow Sam's resupply. Sam wisely chooses to stack behind the border as Pip smashes in Calm grows like covid at a football game. Alifenorm works a safe+2 and loses ground vs SerFen but card pieces all round again Turn Eleven SerFen finally wins vs alifenorm but that is not the case over the map. Calm is chalking up low value, mid value any value set and is unopposed. I'd call it for Lu Fredd here. They're +14 income and Calm has set up +5 for next turn and it is all safe. It takes 3 more turns for CalmWaters to fully assert themselves but the writing is on the wall. Even sanctioned in the last turn, Calm is bringing +29 while Blitz finish with +32 between them
3v3's are not just about the win they are the full five points; almost twice as much as the 1v1's. As an MH boy I can tell you how important the team games are! WG remain unbeaten and in pole position but it is any ones game to play for in 2nd and the promotion spot. It looks to be a good top 4 fighting for the top two spots and is perhaps poorer bottom three fighting for the bottom two. This would be good competition for all and the league's final games already look to be important at both ends of the table but are these early games a pattern? Or are they just smoke obstructing the true fact that MH are the greatest?

Ahoy there! Now clan wars seems to be closing out a season two, let's take a look at the real Clan's competition with Clan League Division B First up the 3v3's which are worth the full 5 points for a win, 4 for 2v2's and solo wins worth a simple 3 points. 3v3 Europe Also the slowest of games and only 2 more finished AJ Chiller, sb, forksandwich defeated petro, Grendel, [V.I.W] recruiting time! Join us ! - https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=26168407Both teams fully mirrored and have similar picks Both avoid the FTB Denmark #1 and no wonder with Norway hanging over it. However, VIW seem more keen on Denmark placing it 2,3. I actually like this. They may lose both islands with 2nd pick, but gain the FTB and with Norway and UK as island counters the safe +2 Denmark may be the short and long term winner. Sadly VIW got first pick Ireland and Norway managing to spoil Denmark. Neither team really went into Russia with early picks, MH preffering Belgium with VIW looking for at the old Austro-Hungarian Empire. The board after picks looks fairly fine, MH safe Belgium Portugal with VIW locking out a lot of eastern Europe. MH lacking any counter, BG and Lithuania not really being known for their centre busting potential. T1 and there's a problem, the Denmark FTB counter doesn't get played, MH take north Denmark and that's a +2 secured for later. Grendel choosing to survive in Russia for no reason with his buddy recruiting right behind him. Most play guides talk about deploy doing nothing as wasted deploy and that's the case here. Doesn't attack, doesn't get attacked. Turn Two and Grendel doubles down, 'taking out' sb in Russia while being removed from Norway. Meanwhile SB takes Denmark and sneaks into position to counter WCR. DrApe sets up Portugal and works his angle in Bulgaria, Fork and Recruiting trade shots in the islands with Petro trying to support Recruiting into Hungary. Turn 3 looks interesting, not sure if i've even seen everything it in yet. There is a lot of transferring control. SB takes control of the islands from fork who jumps on a train south from Lithuania looking for opposition safe income. DrApe takes control of Swiss from Fork too. Recruiting has the islands and BG to control but can't pass off the responsibility, but is given Hungary on a plate to help out. He also checks on SWR and finds the bad news that SB is MH's Mr Russia and has even pre built a stack for T4. MH are +1 income with promising news in BG being more promising than VIW's Swiss gains Turn four Excellent predict for SB in Russia knocks out Grendel's stack, it's just like watching DrApe on FB. Recruiting opens up the triple border on BG, always ask the questions and a triple border is so many. BUT Fork arrives with a little stack and a double border into Hungary and the option of moving to a double Czechian border. That's a lot of questions coming up. However, VIW have 5 extra income moving into Turn Five I'm not sure if VIW were playing with Norway switched off in practice games? Recruiting moved to Iceland to move to Norway but retreated back to Ireland. Norway is duly taken by SB who locks out Russia Fork fails to find a break in Hungary and doesn't pose any questions of Czechia. Recruiting turns aggressor in BG with DrApe hung up protecting Belgium and breaking Swiss. MH going +1 for next turn's deploy. Turn Six Fork struggling to make any head way in the centre but DrApe edges closer from the West and returns to being aggressive in BG. Seems a waste of time going so hard for BG with two enemy two moves away. Certainly, if MH lose BG they would struggle but i can't see winning BG as a winning condition for MH's victory. SB locks out Ireland and Russia, Fork tying up 3 players deploy, DrApe doing the only agression for MH. Recruiting gets into East Iceland to threaten Norway, Fork survives finishing the turn with 3v22 and a bit of a mismatch Turn Se7en SB pushes in the islands and makes ground, but loses advantage in Russia DrApe wins BG removing Recruiting. Fork remains a threat, but a limited threat to the centre power of VIW. Recruiting retains a presence in each island but is losing power Petro stops the Swiss surrender and has a big stack floating in Poland Grendel starts asking questions of SB in Russia and gets a stack block right :) Turn Eight Starting to look finished as SB easily holds Russia and threatens both islands Fork pulls back but doubles his income adding the baltic states DrApe adds BG and immediately goes on the offense towards Hungary. Petro spends a deploy to add a Croatian territory, seems a bit senseless with DrApe on the prowl. MH taking 8 income extra per turn now. But Petro has a stack to deal with Baltic states, but can he deal with that, Croatia, Swiss and DrApe? Turn NiNe DrApe puts his all in to break Hungary, a selfless team act. With Recruiting stuck on base SB will take both islands, hold Russia and win the game, irrespective of DrApe's Belgian or Bulgarian sets standing or falling. Bit of a gripe from Petro for an unaccepted surrender but DrApe's retort is correct. Turn nine was the end of a fair fight, technically turn 8 put the writing on the wall. But this is Clan League, there is pressure on everyone and everyone plays on if they can pull off a maverick predict swinging momentum back towards their team and snatching victory from the jaws of defeat. Maxbag, Phaeril, Wazz defeated ChrisCMU, Super Smoove, Great Expanse - https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=26419613Both going for a full mirror, this is the sensible 3v3 approach rather than INSS chaos WG place Portugal super high at 6, perhaps they feel they need an early summer holiday. And their picks are geared towards the South/East Europe. A risky strategy of blocking out an area with your picks often ends up gifting a area to the opposition or better territories. FC meanwhile forget to pick BG, a set usually considered about ~14 without really having a noticeable pick strategy. There are so high Russia picks but SWR is left out, but it is at least balanced across the board. Picks happen, the board is made and WG gain their SE block but FC gain a NW block as compensation. Turn One is sensible, like the rush at the start of the hunger games, everyone wants to complete as much as possible in the most efficient way Turn Two. Phaeril makes an early move for MVP sending 6 into Hungary as a block. It holds and FC take a +1 income advantage. Looking at the map now, that SE block for WG is not as far away, is not as safe as it felt in picks. Looking at FC's western holdings, they are secure enough to consider a 3 turn UK. Turn Three The centre is a broken mess of mangled armies and shattered kingdoms. The East is a safe BG and a safe GB looks on from the west. All the west looks secure, Iceland gets crapped on and WG are falling behind fast. Turn Four completes the rout as Smooth is taking territories across the centre but hasn't completed any sets for some gains. Current Standings:

3v3 Europa Magna INSS time I seem to be playing this slot, but can't report like standard Europe. This template gives headaches and has more tricks than a retired clown. Lord Syvedyas, GuestNWHSzY, [WG] Reza defeated pip, Banana, SerFen - https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=26471736I can say from personal experience that WG know this map and their income goes up fast. Too fast Here they use a trio of combos at 4,5 after mirroring the blacks. They get all 3 uncontested and turn2 deploy is already 6 ahead of Blitz. It's no wonder it's a fast match. And it's not just picks but game play too and full use of cards too, Lord blockades his start and jams into Mesopotamian. Then gifts to Reza. It's the full deal. Blitz picking top to bottom and just allowing the combos to come home Lord Syvedyas, GuestNWHSzY, [WG] Reza defeated Forsaken, Leo, Mylo - https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=26038534Another WG win, they even play fast! Still too painful to look over this one. Again, allowing Guest an uncontested combo was an early advantage that couldnt be overcome. CalmWaters, alifenorm, Samwise defeated pip, Banana, SerFen - https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=26038533See above CalmWaters, alifenorm, Samwise defeated Mina, TweeKeerJelle, THE AWESOME OTTERYCAT - https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=26219836Gotta remember your attack teammates a LOT on this map :) Not sure how TweKeerJelle can avoid black Mesopotamian or Africa in 18 picks but a way was found. Did go for a good 1,2 green Thracia combo, but was split. Samwise picked and got a nice Bithynia Et Pontus combo, even nice growth north to look forward to Otherwise, Lu Fredd got better territories than 101st, and the combo. I mean no disrespect, but 101st's starting territories just don't look to be planned. In Germany they have a nice back to back but otherwise, no combos and poorer sets. The A, E, B sets being better than the others and actually 101st have 6 vs 5 Lu Fredd? Maybe the picks aren't so bad, certainly when Africa crashes into Lybia for 101st it looks good for them but a blockade and gift stop any gain, just the loss of it for Lu Fredd. Some good card play from Lu Fredd includes the gift of Epidamnos in T4 I'm not sure how Lu Fredd won, or 101st loss. Lu Fredd play standardly, going for the expansion, 101st more aggression to the enemy but once Aflienorm appears strong in Patavium then it is more than a win for Lu Fredd. Even turns four or three look to be a win for Lu Fredd. 101st breaking into a poor set (Lybia) while Lu Fredd breaking into a good set (Thracia) seems to be the main spot. 2v2 Final Earth simone, NoName 2.1 defeated Loxiiv, petro - https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=26259391They could be talking about cloning mammoths for all i know in the chat, my Italian goes as far as GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooal. This game looks to fall down to classic gameplay. South East Asia has a massive advantage vs Australia and NZ, VIW get the predicts right to start but eventually, something goes wrong and safe income (Russia, Africa, Greenland is better than contested income). SEA asks the questions of Australia and if you don't get full marks it's detention and 4 more points to Lu Fredd. Super Smoove, clivan defeated blobblob, Ollie - https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=26259393In what would have originally been a top of the table matchup with prime viewers this game has turned into another notch on WG's victory procession. Can they go further than Masters CL13 who went further than MH's CL12? They're running for it and proving a lot of the CL chatterboxes wrong. Clan WG are back! It is a game of fine margins. Clivan gets the first break and Blobblob pushes too hard to break him back allowing greenland's potential to be slowed. Smoove delays N Africa but arrives T2 and starts asking the questions of Ollie, he never breaks Central Africa. But that's the point, the questions were asked Ollie answered and Smoove took Russia. Like the a hidden question on the back page that Ollie had no answer to. WG grow too much, and MH can't stop them Current Standings:

2v2 Guiroma Hunta, ChrisCMU defeated Mathematician, BellRO - https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=26496344I think this one looks closer than it is, WG have 11/12 intel while VIW are blind. WG knock out Egypt and contain Illy, while backhandedly containing Dacia. Pretty unfair on BellRO but when you play on base for the game, you're unlikely to win. Well picked by Hunta and Chris forksandwich, Jack defeated Lepanto31, Cendity - https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=26330243Finally, MH score some points without DrApe pulling the strings! Is this the start of a promotion push? Have they focused too much on CW instead of CL? Usually playing this on LD settings it's all about the key points, carthage, alexandria, cyrene but this is the big boy's settings. No capitals and never LD in CL! Neither team know much from picks but MH's Jack has his eye on the prize of Illy, Lepanto31 doesn't block in two turns and is straight away up against it. 15v10 double border v double border. Jack manages to find more delays (The stewards confirming no army moved twice), holds Illy, breaks Dacia and breaks Numidia as an extra kicker. gg Current Standings:

MH a poor mid table 4th, VIW and Blitz within touching a game behind with 101st still reeling from the Python split. Nothing has been decided in 2,5 months of action, this is not the 100M final at the Olympics. This is Clan League!!
