I've finished making my first map, but I have some questions about individual parts. https://www.warzone.com/Map/41190-Nevada (Does this link work?) I know how to color in all of the bonuses, but I haven't finished doing that yet. Why is the map so far zoomed out? In Inkscape, I've made the boundaries of the map fit tightly to the map, so I don't know why it looks so small. Also, is there an easy way to make the borders between bonuses more noticeable? Right now, some of them overlap, so it's hard to see the boundaries. Also, generally speaking, are there any noticeable problems with the map as would be with those two problems fixed?

1) Does the link work? : Yes.
2) Why is it zoomed out? : I'm not sure what you mean. It looks fine to me (I'm on desktop).
3) Can the bonus borders be made more noticeable? : Yes. In fact, you answered you own question a little. While territory borders SHOULD overlap, bonus borders should NOT.

2) the problem isn't with the proportion of the map to the canvass, but that the canvass itself is too large for warlight's army numbers and bonus numbers. You can't set the scale for the army numbers or bonus numbers, so you'll have to scale the map down. For a map of that size, 900x900 pixels should probably work well. Like if I make a 2 territory map but on a 2400x3200 pixel canvass, it doesn't matter if the map takes up the whole canvass, the bonus numbers and army numbers are going to look tiny on it.

3) Avoid overlapping bonus borders. Watch a tutorial on how to create them but since you're already finished you might want to just manually move the nodes apart. Select territory with the node tool and just move the borders apart, it's really simple, but since you have some complicated borders it's going to take awhile. It's either you manually adjust the nodes or re-draw the entire map (it's a good idea to save versions of the map as you go so you have an old version to fall back on for this very reason.)

Thanks! The first problem was due to scale; I had set that incorrectly. I just found instructions on making clean bonuses after I made this map, which is unfortunate, but I will implement that in the different map I am currently making.
