Unusual situation (maybe not). I have a game wherein I wound up surrendering after my mate noobed it up, and the other team has abandoned the game. On my side, the two AIs are just waiting to surrender, and on the other side, one guy, who is woefully noob, doesn't appear he'll ever come back to the game. Will this game just sit on my list of active games forever?

Do you have the gamelink? Some possibilities on why it shows him in 1 game:


-Mek is an AI in the game, and its going slow for other reasons.
-Its a tournament that he took a long time for the game to be created (think 2x elimination) and it took a long time to get to him. After creation he was finally force joined after 100 days of not joining and is still waiting for his second 100 days to get autobooted (would have to check when Fiz implemented the 100 day auto boot)
-Finally, if the game creation was prior to the implementation of the 100 day autoboot... maybe he might not get caught up in the autoboot.

There's no magic 100 day auto boot. There's an abandoned games system that will eventually force the game to finish, though. So it won't remain on your list forever. You can read about it here: http://wiki.warlight.net/index.php/Abandoned_games

It bases its booting off of how long the player has moved in a game, not how long their profile shows them as active for. So it's possible for an inactive player to be in a game if they were inactive before that game was created.

oh, ok, because a while ago i was in an ffa i surrendered and both other players had quit the game with no boot, if i remember correctly it disappeared after about 100 days (might not have noticed a 100% autoboot though :P)
