Ok, so I'm playing a Ladder game against [REGL] John. He's still active, but he's not taking his turn. I'm winning that game, so I'm wondering if getting booted from a game doesn't hurt your rating as much as surrendering.

@Warlightvet to save you some time and worry (Because saving you worry is what I'm all about) I was going to put you on my blacklist, but you were already there. Probably for being a jerk or an awful player, didn't want to waste any more time trying to figure out why I already don't care for you.

Additionally, pull your head out of your keister before making an idiotic comment. you'll save yourself some anguish as well that way.

John, he asked a legitimate question. He merely asked whether being booted does less damage then surrendering.

It looks like you were stalling - not that I mind (some people have real reasons for taking their time - myself included).

I have never seen Warlightvet be a jerk (and I play a lot of games with him) and I'm willing to bet he is a much better player then you (1v1 ladder stats support me here).

What about this thread made you so angry? Was it the face that Platypus publicised (or implied) you stalling? I can see no other reason. If it was the reason in brackets, then I can understand, but you gave a false reason, which I can't understand.

John`s speed the last 10 turns, it don`t look like he`s stalling the game. If he was he would not move anywhere near so fast he`s doing now. Because he at one turn (of the last 10) used almost 3 days is not a very good reason to make a tread like this (nor to complain in the chat either)

So based on that^^ I think he`ve a good reason the be a bit angry..
Also for us outsiders, who are not playing the game, it`s impossible to know what which`s true for sure, so I recommend to not Judge anyone based on guesses..

We were about tied for a while until the last turn, where he took a while (it was 2 days 22 hours when I made the thread). Perhaps it was unfair to accuse him so early, especially when I was wrong, but still...

Dragging out a game is a strategic way to keep your ratings in the ladder. That's why he did it. He is trying to rake in as many wins as he can before surrendering to you

He was reading a book and forgot about the game.

He met a hot girl and was too busy with another type of 1v1.

Perhaps I'm getting a bit tired of this template and don't enjoy playing it.

Perhaps I'm a bit annoyed playing with people that brag about how badly they're beating me when its actually quite a close match.

Perhaps I'm a bit annoyed with players directing me how to find the surrender button.

Perhaps I'm a bit annoyed with someone publicly accusing me of trying to game the system when in actuality, I just don't want to play that particular game.
