I don't think there will be AP Upgrades for Hospitals because when they were added, there were no notes about changing AP Upgrades while there were notes for changing Techs to include Hospitals.

What were the Drafting hints? There's already this one. Maybe Drafting frequency? Or auto-drafting?

Increases armies received from drafting by 10%. Upgradable to 300% in 10% increments.

A convo I had with Fizzer way back:

"The draft is intentionally a little hard to find. Eventually you can buy the Auto-Draft advancement, and if we made drafting too easy it would reduce the usefulness of this advancement."

Oh dang, well that sucks....

Although ... there is potential that Auto-drafting could actually result in LOWER drafts.

Unless you leave your Draft Boost artifact equipped while going Idle. But you're missing out on armies/money/whatever you equip when going idle.

Well since drafts are trying to catch you up to some % of total armies drafted, I dont see the point of getting bigger or more drafts, and especially not for the costs of a phase 4 advancement.

If its over 200 AP its not worth buying....

Many of the upgrades are for convenience rather than advantage. (see Increased Idle Time or Auto-Sell)

Auto-Draft would save you from headaches on levels like Triskellion.

I used Draft Boost artifact for fodder. You are better off upgrading a fulltime artifact than swapping weaker artifacts around.

What I'm thinking about is my latest AP investment. I upgraded "Increased AP" to the max, but now I heard you can ascend and reboot all you maps - now I question my decision. Maybe at this stage it's better to invest my AP into boosting armies and mercenaries.

I've never truly understood that. I've assumed that "Draft Boost" meant that it's taking X from the draft pool but giving you X*Y armies, where Y is your bonus (Advancement + Artifacts). If not ... agree, it's a b slap in disguise, and I don't think Fizz would do that (intentional mislead players into spending AP on an actually misleading and useless AP advancement or artifact).

What I can say is this: after I've depleted my pool and continually get drafts every 6 minutes, they are consistently higher when the artifact is equipped. So whatever value results is by default the lowest possible draft value (empty pool), so if it's higher with the artifact, this would indicate that it is indeed X from pool, X*Y awarded. But no way to confirm beyond this b/c you never know what the draft would have been without the artifact (or AP advancement) or vice versa.

I maxed it out to 25% as well ... and b/c we're now soon ascending, we'll get more AP on the 2nd playthrough. The more you play, the more benefit you'll get. But you have to play a lot to make up for spending 7700 AP on just getting more AP. 35,000 or so AP earnings is the break-even point -- too high a cost imho, but undoing it now is silly. At +25%, it's finally time to reap the max rewards!

I'm really tempted to use 150 coins for a reset. Imagine how faster will you fly through the levels with 7700 AP invested it things you really need... and if after completing all the maps for the second time you can ascend again then I don't really see the point in having 25% more

Btw, has any invested in Starts with Techs?

It sounded good at first read ... but the that means you get Drafts at level start ... and the next 9 after that if maxed out ... but that's not really such a big deal. Those are (A) the easiest techs to get, and (B) that just means all the mines and recipes you get for the first 20% of the map will be irrelevant, and you have nothing much to do in that phase - can't build the stuff you actually need for the next 10 techs, so it's not really saving much. But (A) is the biggest issue.

If it unlocked the _next_ 10 locked techs, then that would be worth investing in. So when you unlocked Drafts yourself, it moves the benefit to the 11th tech in the tree, etc. Especially at cost of 1289 AP for the 1st free tech unlock (Drafts), it's just not worth it when you can get that yourself in the first few hours of playing a multi-week level, and you will need to get those resources anyhow to get the 2nd through 10th techs.

+25% means EVENTUALLY you will have more AP advancements ... but as I said, you won't see the benefits of until likely playing every level twice or so. You're probably better just spending it on true advancements. BUT if you've already spent the AP and slogged through levels without it, then you've ALREADY PAID THE PRICE and you can't undo that, so may as well get the +25% now. You will now get the benefits.

For now I only see my army production dropped from 250% to 100% and I'm not happy. So that's it. I've done it. I reset my AP and will enjoy my ascension fully equipped. Am I going to be sorry in the future? Very likely.
But for now I'll sleep like a kitten!
