Most importantly, he needs adequate and competent legal representation, which he has but quickly costs money. I'd be ok if Fizzer wanted to use these to rename this game: ZombieWars, Zombie Map Warfare, Zombie Apocalypse, or ZombieVision (a slap down to that other company). But, I really like the current name and hope he prevails. All hail the great Fizzer!

Bold of the people in here ‘correcting’ the owner of this game and website on his own lawsuit, especially in such a way that looks like they’re rooting against him or couldn’t care if he loses.

Correcting him literally does nothing here, and posting an indifferent attitude towards the situation in this thread shows quite a bit of hubris.

Activision, and the companies it’s purchased, have a history of abusing trademark law to bully out smaller companies that cannot afford the legal fees to defend themselves. That’s what this is: a billion dollar corporation is using its money to ensure it can do what it pleases. To Activision, this is not a matter of ‘how much’ they think they’re right, it’s ‘how much’ money they need to spend to get this over with.

Apparently a very successful one judging by the gofundme already breaking 10K. He is within his rights to go after activision, but he's selling it to his fans like they're going after him rather than the other way around.

I don't know if you are aware, but lawyers are expensive. Activision could literally try and break fizzer's bank doing this. I can't blame him for raising funds.

If im doing a cash grab, the last thing I would want to do is find some way to be sued by another company. Its so much easier just to come up with a random gimmick for everyone to buy, (and not to mention without the risk of losing money).

Activision has a history of bullying with trademarks and lawsuits

Why would Activision lie?
Its simple, they can gain profit from it. Its basic reason why people lie. They have money for prolonged lawsuits, even if court rejects their case, they can start another one and then another one. Lawyers live from perpetuating bullshit, its the very basic of their profession. Justice has little, if anything, to do with truth and fairness nowadays, especially in USA.

Fizzer needs to watch Find Me Guilty to see what a good defense looks like.

I came from the future and 4 years ahead of now the COD game was rebranded as "Hotspot". But nobody cares because no one is playing. Everybody went to the true Warzone in an event called "The Great Influx" just when the legal case news hit the fan.
