anyone else not getting the bonus army ads? haven't for a few days, I don't think the wheel spin either.

This happens from time to time, mostly with the ads for +20%. Sometimes the option to trigger it just don't pop up. Other times, it pops up, but there's no ad available. Sometimes it is a simple Retry, other times I need to restart app, other times days go by and no luck.

Same with coin wheel, but far far less frequent.

I've seen the occasional glitches your taking about but never says of no movie icon coming up.

I switch to I phone and run ads from there, so no big deal. But if it's a setting or something be nice to know :)

I asked for this once already. The "problem" mostly is that the ad-provider doesn't have ads to serve to you/Fizzer. Ads are sold by view count, afaik. So, if an ad was played the amount of times that were agreed upon, it is used up and if no other ad is available, then there is no boost for you at that point in time. Switching to iPhone (if this is an option for you) can "solve"/circumvent the problem because this is a different ad-provider (apple and not google). Otherwise, try again a short time later.

This has happen to me a couple of times. Sometimes just switching from Idle to classic app works. Generally you just have to wait. The longest wait for me was about 20 hours.

I agree the 20% bonus ad seems to be more glitchy on android recently. I’ve had to switch over to my Apple device multiple times to grab it.

I tried this approach once and the only (and understandable) response was, that this is not something he can control, if it is just down to Google not serving any ads at this point. So, yeah, if you have an issue, file a report, but if it is likely that it's just ads, try the before mentioned tricks like force stopping the game (or switch to Apple, in case you use both Android and Apple (those people exist??)), other than that, "try again later". The ad boost is nothing that you were promised when you signed up for the game. It's a nice-to-have. Don't bother Fizzer when he could come up with new and nice game features instead at the same time. ;)

PS: This also comes down to your region, because ads are sold for a specific audience. If you live somewhere, where no ads were provided for (is there an option for Antarctica-based ads for example? sure, this only applies to a few researchers), then the pool of ads to draw from is rather small and probably more depleted then for the US of (Central) Europe. I feel for you if you hadn't had a chance to gain the ad boost for days, I only ran into this problem once for a few hours and this was already some months ago. But again, Fizzer can't help you when living in (definitely exaggerated, wherever you live ;) ) an almost deserted area that no company wants to provide ads for.
