Krinid, I was referring to fixed drafts only when mentioning the 25%. Total drafts usually exceed armies from camps for me as well (0% draft boost). Fixed drafts alone don't account for very much of that total.
Hi, Im on finishing level now and take many mercenary. so i watched the draft sizes. if dont equip the draft artifact ( uncommon 8%) i draft 603m armies . If i equip it i just get 533m armies. anyone has an idea whats going wrong here? current armie income is 137.5k and i have no advancements
I've done the same many times ... what's happening is you're mostly but not completely depleting the sliding portion of the Draft size while NOT equipping the artifact to get 603M, then equipping it afterward with a smaller sliding portion remaining to get the 533M Draft.
Try it the other way around, if you equip first and then unequip second, and if you get a Lower/Higher Draft, then screenshot it and bring it back here. Though I guess you'll only have the screenshot of the 2nd Draft at that point so it wouldn't have meaning. Anyhow, it **should never happen.
**Stuff that should never happen has in fact happened. Nothing is ever certain, especially in cases like this where you can't really test it to know what your exact values with and without artifact would be.
Did you buy any Mercenaries or conquer any Caches between Drafts? That will affect how much you receive. So will time between Drafts. A small sample size with little data is impossible to generate conclusions.
Oh, didn't even notice. ACB will DEFINITELY affect your Drafts. Your CURRENT income affects Draft size, so it must be equipped.
Oh yea I missed the pic of the artifacts, so yes, you're swapping out ACB to swap in DB. So instead do this, swap out TMB to swap in DB, leave ACB in, and do the same thing, and it should be higher with the DB artifact equipped.
ACB boosts armies/sec which boosts drafts. Use them both for best drafts.
i buyed several billions think an hour ago. and still drafting now the " benefit" of it. but i tested this several times same result with artifact equipped. ( just for the draft so 10sec) 533m . without its 609m. is it neccesary to have euipped the draft artifact the hole time to get a benefit of it?
dosent affect in moment. ACB equipped or unequipped. i think in moment i think u call it sliding potion is to big. so i draft the max what i can. anyway its less with artifact.??? for me it seems this is a bug!
your 533 draft was with an army income of 113K/sec (with Draft artifact) your 609 draft was with an army income of 137k/sec
By significantly decreasing your army income by equipping the Draft artifact, you significantly decreased the fixed portion of your draft. An 8% Draft artifact cannot make up for unequipping an Army camp Boost that effectively gives you 20% more army income.
@ phoenix my income was dropped cause i unequip ACB ( armie camp boost) drafts should count gathered armies not current income ... or not. but i watched and tested till now so i changed nothing didnt buy mercenaries and now something changed it seems i gather now 642m with DB and less with ( 603) without. if anyone interisted i can send screenshots with timestamps. ( as i didnt gather any armies from caches or etc.)
let's just say, we don't know (yet) how exactly the drafts are calculated, but I'm pretty sure, that they take into account the current army income the second you actually draft. That said, this all might be totally wrong and the drafts are just RANDOM and Fizzer is testing how log we believe his statement about calculatable drafts ;)
Sebastian, take new screenshots when it happens, but if armies/sec is LOWER when you have Draft Boost equipped, then something else is happening. If it's just unequipping ACB, that explains it. But if you leave ACB in, take TMB out, put DB in, and your armies/sec goes down (which it shouldn't), then something is wrong.
137,000 x 3690 x 1.2 = 609 M (rounded) (With Army Camp Boost) 113,000 x 3690 x 1.28 = 534 M (rounded) (With Draft Boost) You income without Army Camp Boost must have been a bit under 113,000/sec, and it looks like you also have +20% to drafts from a tech or advancement.
thx jz, i did some more screen shots and yes u guys are right. ACB makes an difference on draftsize. i think that was the issue thx for ur help. @jz do u have a clue how this 3690 are calculated?
The most you can get from the sliding draft portion is equal to one hour of armies from camps, plus the effects of modifiers. 60 x 60 = 3600 seconds. This is where the 3600 comes from. The fixed draft portion is equal to 1.5 minutes of armies from camps, plus any draft modifiers. This adds an additional 90.
Maximum Sliding Draft: 3600 Seconds x Armies Per Second x (1 + Modifiers) Fixed draft: 90 Seconds x Armies Per Second x (1 + Modifiers)
Maximum total draft (including fixed and sliding): 3690 x Armies Per Second x (1 + Modifiers)
