I READ the original post, but even so I don't have the time to analyze every single detail sweningen is trying to write.
In that case though I would like to apply for the second season of HIS template as opposed to the fourth season of 20.

The templates for 1st round will be Guiroma 2vs2 and strat 1vs1 (both with 16% luck changed to 0%). Templates for next rounds will be announced right before the start of the round reducing template experience factor.

I like the format, but based on the response rate, it might make sense to reserve 10 spots for the winners of play-in tournaments. This is similar to what they actually do in the champions league, and gives lessor known players a chance to prove themselves.

I don't quite understand... You mean you'd want to organise eliminations to champions league? That's a good idea in theory, but in practise eliminations would have to be held with ~60 players involved and would take longer than actual champions league...

It depends on how to set up the play in tournaments. It you divided the players up randomly, and made say, 10 4 person single-elimination tournaments with the winner advancing to the main event, it wouldn't take long at all. It would really depend on how much interest there is.
