I don't understand the issue krinid. Fizzer could just use striped colours to double the player number from 40 to 80?

Example . . . who _doesn't_ have an issue with these 2 colours?

i just change people's colours all the time. click on name, click change colour. its useful for watching 3 vs 3 games where i give the 2 teams various shades of the same colour to easier watch whats going on. can we not just have multiples of the same colour? i think 80 player games would be awesome, giving way more scope to huge maps

after looking at Oranis attempt at patterns I can conclude that it is much easier to tell each colour apart with patterns than you would think lol

I've had a few games where i confused my orange opponent for my orange red team mate, yes

but these days i tend to always change everyone's colors no matter what, so that they clearly contrast against my own (team), the background and each other

Actually max size maps are 3500 works well for idle size too. I don't see fizzer going beyond it's current size unless for profitable interests. Adding in say like 10 more colors. The max map size quite balanced for the max player size games so i don't see Fizzer changing it. I have this map I'm working on. https://www.warzone.com/SinglePlayer?PreviewMap=93331 and it's for large player games bt yo can't even find 40 players who won't get booted or go ai.

I disagree. There are plenty of absolutely massive maps that could very easily fit 80 players. Also, I don't know why people are still debating the issue of colours. I've already said that Fizzer could simply double the present colours by adding a striped version, which he has already made if you look at my original post. He could also make money by making 80 players a funding goal for his lawsuit fund.

You are correct, but they can be useless if less than half of the slots are filled.

Everyone saying Fizz could add stripes and dots etc ... yes of course he _could_ ... but you realize that all those things you're suggesting are things he'd more likely put a $60-$100 price tag on, and you think now he'll just give them away for free b/c people want higher # of players in games?

Notice how you can never pick smoky black in a game if you don't own and have it active yourself? B/c it's a premium colour among the premium colours. As are prison green, whatever the striped blue colour is, etc.

You may as well ask for a SuperCamp, 2 MLs and a bunch of coins while you're at it.

As for the Russians not having an issue with the shades of blue ... that is fascinating but I do question it - why/how is this? But anyhow, as most of us aren't Russian ... the point stands. (;

@krinid, I would pay money for 80 player games, but I already pay for membership so should get it for that reason.

@Shin, getting 80 players in a game is no issue.

Stupid suggestion: BATTLEPASS FOR COLOURS.

I've noticed that Fizzer has added 80 open slots when creating games, even though only 40 can be used. All the infrastructure is there to make it happen...
