don't think Fizzer plans on having external ladders listed on the homapage. i wouldn't mind giving him a dump of my db and letting him incorporate it as an official ladder though, or retiring one of them when an official replacement pops up at some point. but i think it's a bit too soon to be thinking on such things.

i can tell you i don't think i will ever put ads on the homepage i set up for the clots. there is the flattr button there if someone wants to support my development on it, they can use that. contributions are welcome since i could be using my time coding paying stuff, but not required from anyone. this is just a hobby for when i'm procastinating on taking care of something else. :)

a simple oneliner / chatroom would be easy to create on that page, but am waiting on fizzer to enable warlight user authentication across 3rd party sites first. we have talked about it, it's in the plans, no clue for when it'll be ready. this would be great addition to the warlight gameapi because it would enable realtime ladders.

i have considered requesting for a special forum section to announce these kind of events, not just clots but also the champions league, 20 tournaments, clan leagues, live streams and that kind of (users self-organized) stuff.
