doggy style, i can efficiently teach at least 20 people in warlight at the same time, my problem is getting volunteers, so far from warlighters/lighters i have had i think 2-3 max, and most of those were instigated by me.
I think that's what's blocking our level from advancing, most of the members are casual players who prefer roleplaying games and ffas to competitive 1V1s or team games, which to me is a perfectly legit. way of playing :)
arun is right about the alt, that was purely a joke meant to make you laugh for a moment maybe, and then forget about. it wasn't supposed to be taken seriously, i told the person in question warlighters had a really fun atmosphere when he/she asked and he/she wanted to test it.
@arun, i had suggested this a long time ago because i had to keep warlighter requirements low in order to be fair to existing warlighters, since you didn't want to demote anyone, why not have a group, like the one in REGL, of the top warlighters called "prolighters"? (if you don't believe me and think i'm copying on regl look on my profile, it's in my name history from a long time ago :P)
I also agree with arun in that the clan you're in rarely influences progress much, since tutoring can come from outside your clan just as easily as inside.

@[REGL]Min34 That sounds like a fat guy who isn't that good looking, so to hook up some girl need to play it all on simpaty :D

PS: Min34 - i am disappointed your last claim suggests WMs are not friendly or at least less than cpus or regls.. :(

Well REGL accepts people based on if they are nice, not on skill. I doubt elitist clans would accept someone who is being a dick in their test game, however if they don't speak much then and they are good you wouldn't say no.
With us you only need 4 people in REGL to say on our website that you think they should join, this only really happens if you are a nice person to play with.

Arun, please don't use our clan match to say that Warlighters are a clan whose members are above average. Those were your top 5 players, lost 5 - 3, and that was without our best player playing a match (according to the {CS} ladder).

Also REGL is not a very good clan skill-wise, we have quite a few, but you cannot claim you are an above average clan because you lost to an above average clan. I would say you guys have some good players, most are noobs however when I play open games with them.

Warlightvet, 20 at the same time, that means hardly any matches for normal games?
2 - 3 at a time is ok, but if you can do 20 at one time then you are not teaching thoroughly enough. When you are teaching someone, at the end you are supposed to go through every single turn in order saying what was good, what should change and reasons in depth. 20 of those at the same time sounds dodgy.

Please, as Doggy said, do not take this as a personal attack, I just find it annoying when people cannot see the truth about themselves.

The cat once again shows his wit. And we laugh at it. Good job cat!

Aranka watching you navigate a conversation is most amusing.

Hardly ever works though.
Women are not some kind of machine where you insert nice and/or symphaty coins and a relationship (underlying sex) rolls out.
It doesn't work that way.

Someone here (Aranka) is taking a bit too serius me (Red) in this discussion.
I know that's not how it works... It's just that funny that they even make T-shirts saying "i'm already simpatic, i can't even be good looking".

Any resemblance to real events and/or to real persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental. ;) Take it easier, i'm usually not that serious on Warlight.

i take turns on tutoring games slowly, and answer any questions that are asked in detail, but most people don't ask questions so all i have to do is the analysis at the end of the game :)
I try to stay at the level of the person for the analysis, i don't flood the chat with details, if the guy picked a wasteland, for example, i won't start going on about how in this game west africa was probably better than central russia because it was harder to sabotage.

Warlighters is definitely not above average, sorry. There are a few good players in your clan and that is it. I say that not to bash you, but for your own good. Until you realize what your skill level is, you cannot really go about improving it (if that is your goal).

I'm not going to rank all the clans, but you can't possibly think you are above average. Warlightvet and Polakillo went 11-7 in the clan leagues and they are your best players. That puts them there with CPU, but once you get past the first few players your talent drops off a ton. CPU has 6-8 very good players, and many more above average players after that.

I'm looking forward to the next clan challenge because when we did the last one, [WG] only 4 members.

We think we are a very good clan, but realize we still have some improving to do before catching apex or [WM]. And ReLite deserves to be in the very good conversation like us as well IMO. I think AHol belongs in that conversation also. There are a couple very solid clans in that mix too.
