Hi all,

I'm going to be leaving Warzone for the summer to focus on school. I might not return if senior year (of HS) turns out to be too busy. Maybe I'll come back for the Warzone Awards.

It hasn't been much more than a year since I found this app in the first month of Covid lockdown, but a lot has happened in that time. The rise of TSFH, creating 15 maps with a lot of crazy bonus systems, sweeping the Warzone Awards, 3 YouTube mapmaking tutorials, streaming on Twitch and Fundraising for Warzone, memorizing all capitals, flags and country locations for TSFH trivia, FPL and chess, hundreds of games, tournaments and forum threads, chatting on global, clan chat and discord until 2am, and of course, living through an entire pandemic.

Thank you to everyone at TSFH, without you I probably would have left this game within a week. Thanks to Kratt, R4L, Ursus, Ocean0.1, Legolas, Raxor117, Mitchhundred, NcSnipe, Duncs171, Chizel, Lefty, Darkness Within, Krinid, Liechtensteiner, Mythos, and all the others I am forgetting. I realize I didn't meantion this, but I am doing optional summer school. It's to get some credits out the way before next school year starts, so I will have an easier load. And also because summer courses don't have exams.

I've been trying to do this every day, but the website (and discord servers associated with it) have way too distractions. It seriously takes a lot more time out of my day than it should. The only way to stop myself opening the website 5 minutes is unfortunately to leave it altogether. This is a personal choice, and I hope you understand.

Haha, very true. I thought calling it senior year would make it clearer to non-Canadians than grade 12.


To everyone else who responded, thank you! I'll miss every one of you. I will be checking this thread one more time tomorrow in case anything else comes up. Otherwise, hopefully I'll pop on once in a while after summer is over, to check in :)

lol I wondered about that too knyte... Orannis, thanks so much for the time spent trying to teach me map making. Sorry I was just unable to pick it up and make it work. You by far made the easiest to follow vids I had seen out there. Maybe if I feel like torturing myself again in the future I'll pull those up and try again, as I still have them saved on my favs.

I too hope after summer school things change and we're lucky enough to meet again. You'll always have many friends here wishing you the best.
