The remaining European Axis agreed to relinquish all lands it conquered since the attack on Poland in exchange for full sovereignty. Spain is divided into occupation zones. Japan, defeated by allies with the bloodiest invasion in human history, mainly by Chinese manpower. Now, with the US steadily losing influence in Asia, the Triumvirate of Zhou Enlai, Yan Xishan and Ma Zhongying decided to officially drive the Americans out of Honshu. The Americans were unable to resist and had to flee. After the smoke cleared and showed the 356 dead GIs, the Cold War had officially begun...

The Superpowers have to deal with these in a cold war manner, therefore by not attacking each other but by using proxies instead. Attack enemy proxies or use gold to bribe or support allies.

New Zealand and Newfoundland stand with the rest of the Commonwealth and the USA to oppose the British Republic.

The War left the lands of the USSR devastated. While the Axis were unable to annex all lands, their forces still hold much of the west and it will take foreign intervention from the superpowers to make them leave. You are a large-scale Siberian rebellion led by deported and imprisoned folks who have formed the Siberian Federation. In practice, the USA has hired tons of Latin American mercenaries to fight in the Soviet Civil War, making your government essentially a puppet of the strongmen in Mexico.

As most powers were fighting, getting their populations and/or economy destroyed, Argentina came out unscarred. Currently you support African Independence movements around the great lakes.

Peru currently supports African Independence movements in South Africa.
21. (42) Colombia
The War left the lands of Central Europe in financial crisis, making Czechoslovakia in practice a state dependent on the US similar to Colombia.
23. (64) Portugal
As most powers were fighting, getting their populations and/or economy destroyed, you came out unscarred. Your allies remain the other European colonial Powers of South Africa, Free France, Belgium, Netherlands and Great Britain.
27. (61) Turkey
The war left Turkey in a very strong position, not only avoiding being invaded but effectively gaining influence over many parts of the Caucasus and central Asia following the Soviet collapse. You have many competitors, the skull armies of the Nazi remnants being the most hostile for their ethnic cleansing of Tatars, but also the royalist Sunni Hashemites and Basmachi, the fascist Egyptians or the Shia Iranians.

The war left Egypt with full independence at your hands. You started as an axis puppet, but with Axis troops gone, the Suez Canal is now finally in full control of the nation, but in turn Egypt is surrounded by enemies, be them the Iraqis, the Ethiopians or even the Italians, who still hold control of Libya.
29. (68) Netherlands
As the war came to an end, you regained your independence, but your colonial rule remains greatly challenged. Your allies remain the other European colonial Powers of South Africa, Free France, Belgium, Portugal and Great Britain.
32. (45) Saudi Arabia
The war left Saudi Arabia in a strong position, as the country avoided being invaded despite sitting on the greatest oil reserves the world knows of.
33. (69) Ethiopia and others
The war left you a semi-independent collection of African states, unstable and backwards with the main unifying faction being British influence. It remains to be seen how you will change that.
34. (69) South Africa
The war left the dominion of South Africa in a miraculously powerful state. You have essentially unified all white colonial lands into one entity, and your support for the British republic and opposition to the decolonized will hopefully pay off.
35. (66) Independent French Soudan
The War left the French Republic in a devastating position, being in civil war and having essentially split in 3, you being the African independence movements. Both the Metropolitans and the Tripartisme are white suppressors and your only unifying factor is to drive the Europeans out.
37. (41) Sweden
The war left both Sweden and Burma relatively stable, having profited but also suffered from the Axis invasions.
38. (24) Poland
Poland is a shadow of its former self, being devastated and humiliated by German action and allied inaction.
39. (39) Afganistan
Afghanistan left the war unscarred and an opportunity arises in Africa to increase your influence.
