Here's propably not the first feature request about this:

Every time I change something in a template, the wildcard proposal is "[player's name]'s warlight game" again, and team mode is set on FFA game again.
The open seats number has to be reset always.

With possibility to set these three as fix, it'd be much smarter to start a game offer.

It is possible, just change once, go "edit" your template and save it again

Mainly I mean that templates should imo simply freeze also these three, without any knack. In particular open seats can't be saved, as far as I know.
