Most people ignoring my boy SM + MR combo. The other powers are fairly popular if we ignore skip level.

Market Raid Example in Hard Siege:
=================================================
Relevant Ore production:
68.0328 copper
3.07395 nickel
2.53935 lead

Production times for Items:
7 copper bar => 63 seconds
1 nickel bar => 465.8 seconds

Expected Market Raid of Market
(68.0328*86,400)/438 = 13,420 copper bars
(3.07395*86,400)/1430 = 186 nickel bars
Bottleneck by nickel => 186 barbed wire
(2.53935*86,400)/2540 = 86 lead bars

Sell value => 6.14B
=================================================
Invest 981m in Fectly to lv2

5.94945 nickel production

Production times for Items:
1 nickel bar => 240.3 seconds

Expected Market Raid of Market
(68.0328*86,400)/438 = 13,420 copper bars
(5.94945*86,400)/1430 = 359 nickel bars
Bottleneck by nickel => 359 barbed wire
(2.53935*86,400)/2540 = 86 lead bars

Sell value => 9.57B
Profit => 9.57 - 6.14 - 0.981 = 2.449B
=================================================
Use Supercharge Mine on Fectly

85.97745 nickel production

Production times for Items:
1 nickel bar => 27 seconds

Expected Market Raid of Market
(68.0328*86,400)/438 = 13,420 copper bars
(85.97745*86,400)/1430 = 5,195 nickel bars
86400/103 => 839 barbed wire
(2.53935*86,400)/2540 = 86 lead bars

Sell value => 50.47B
==================================================
Go all in!
Equip Speedy Crafter+Speedy Smelter+Efficient Smelter + Speedy Craft AD bonus

Expected Market Raid of Market
(68.0328*86,400)/429 = 13,702 copper bars
(85.97745*86,400)/1400 = 5,306 nickel bars
86400/62 => 1,394 barbed wire
(2.53935*86,400)/2490 = 88 lead bars

Sell value => ~60B

Note: I don't have Rock Candy to double a mine.
==================================================

TLDR: SM + MR + 1B money + Fectly on Hard Siege => 60B (more with better advancement/artis than me)

I could have used a 2nd Supercharge mine on bragprose too and get 23B more from lead bars but overkill. Without this I maxed hospitals and bought all mercs.

I did this to rush the 2nd crafter since I need to produce 1000 screws for all tech and that is 13.5 hours with both crafters for me. On a non-tech run this would have been an "instant" win.

P.S. This also works on higher levels for a ton of money. Don't waste your MR on 1/1/1/1 TY lol.

For crafted items what are the factors for market raid? If I supercharge a nickel mine, I know that I get more nickel bars, but do I get more rivets as well?

Barbed wire for me used 7 copper + 1 nickel on that particular map and getting more nickel ore production made me get more barbed wire because at the start with all lvl1 mines I was bottlenecked by nickel. Rivets should be the same but you don't care about copper in that case and since rivets need a ton of nickel bars in general you probably want heavy amounts of speedy smelter for that one.

Game saves a snapshot of your stats when you use the MR and runs a simulation for 24h to see how much you could produce in that time. It uses all crafter/smelter for each item and if you don't have a recipe or enough ore production for an item or one of it's dependencies you get the dreaded "1". Therefore you want to buff all your crafting/smelting stats right before you use the MR and they will apply for the 24h simulation.

Do we know if inventory on hand is considered in the simulation? Or is the output simply the lesser of smelter (crafter) capacity and mine capacity?

Inventory of ore, bars & items doesn't factor in.

It's just a matter of ore production, available recipes, smelter & crafter capacities.

Recipes are an important factor. For example, you can have massive nickel production, 15 smelters, 15 crafters, using Legendary SS & SC and maxed out the SS/SC Advancements as well, but if you don't have the Rivet recipe but use an MR on a market containing it as an item, you're only going to get 1 rivet.

So lemme get this straight...

So if the market has a bar to raid (i.e. in the first example, copper bar), then it'll take the snapshot of your copper production at that time (68.03 copper per second) and then multiple it by 86,400 seconds in a day, divided by the ore needed per bar (438) for 13,420 copper bars.

Is this particular end result dependent on your smelting speed(s), or is the copper production the only thing that's the factor here?

What about bars that require multiple ores?

The similar method with SM + FC could be applied to obtain bars that are not available in the markets. Note that we need to SM carefully, otherwise, we may get some bars that we do not want.

Now with Superpowers, we have 5 SM powers on your favorite mines, and then a Super MR, x50 the production in a single reward shot. Useful for bars and craftables you would need for techs, as typically you can get those from a market, and manually produce a good amount of.

Hi guys,

I am very interested in apply this SM + MR combo.

I am playing Australia level pretty advanced, and want to try a market having these outcomes:
- metal pipe (using iron, lead and silicon bars)
- terbium bars (using terbium, uranium and lanthanum ore)
- lanthanum bars (using lanthanum, lead and thorium ore)
- samarium bars (using samarium, neodymium and chromium ore)

I currently have 8 smelters and 8 crafters.
I read the post and I am clear regarding the quantities needed per each component and the way to avoid bottlenecks via SM power to increase the MR outcome.

I have some questions about the process:
- how the smelters are used? I mean one smelter is set to make the same bar the whole day (24 hours). I do not have smelters enough for producing one different kind of bar per smelter
- what about ore used for two different results? Like lead in this case, used for metal pipe and also for lanthanum bars. If running out, which result is affected first?

I'd appreciate you can provide some guidelines regarding how to do this.

Many thanks,
Arcturus
