I’m currently playing Africa (my first time) and have done approximately 15-20%. I haven’t found any powers so far. Will there be any or is it a map without powers?

There are some, but a lot of powers in new map revisions come much later.

On my first time they're in there. Found 1x Free Cache, 1x Market Raid, 1x Time Warp, 1x Supercharge Army Camp, 1x Supercharge Mine so far w/ a couple more visible at the moment. 500 territories conquered so far. I shot down the middle and down the east and west coasts think thats where I initially started seeing them. Filling in the gaps now.
But I played the first 3 hardened levels over the weekend and tried to save what powers I could. Blew 3 FB's when I started Africa so that made it a little easier lol
