Nice start, right? Some interesting statistics that make me question his authenticity though.
Beat C-17 4 times.
Beat Elros Tuvenal 3 times.
Beat Gnuffone 2 times.
Beat Longhouse 2 times.
Beat Koxyli 2 times.
Beat various players one time; none of which are rated above 2000.

Now the wins vs Gnuffone, Longhouse and Koxyli seem legit. What makes me suspicious is his 7 wins vs the 2 French guys. He is French also. Is this a coincidence? C-17 is 35-9 if you take out games against Yves. To lose 4 times vs Yves with no wins seems odd. Elros is 34-16 without the games against Yves.

I just have a hard time believing someone could go 11-0 vs players rated 1995 or higher. Especially when 7 are against someone from the same country. Any thoughts on this? Am I just paranoid? Or is Yves cheating on the ladder?

Conclusion: From my point of view, Yves seems to be an alt and is likely the same person as C-17 and Elros Tuvenal. But one thing we know for sure: Yves is a very good player and it is unlikely he will drop out of the #1 spot until Szeweningen rejoins.

2 reasons I am leaving the warlight forums:

1. Too busy, barely have time to make my turns right now.

2. The forums are full of shitty people with no life other than warlight (primarily Pulsey). Eventually you're gonna learn warlight shouldn't be the main thing in your life. I just hope its soon. I applaud the guys who try to use the forums to do worthwhile things, it's a shame that the threads are constantly trolled, I hope it changes someday soon.

I don't. There are a couple of people, able to pull that off. Its a question of ambition and concentration for some of the best players here.

i hope that Yves will Play a bit more often than 1 game/3 days. otherwise it's just another alt who's blocking the top spot on a ladder. it's getting annoying honestly. it'll take a while to get a Rating of 2300+ :(

there are a few other skilled french players out there but Wazz is a very likely option though but there is a other i would say before him though

k. don't know if it is sze or not, but he was pissed off at some of his early losses on rt ladder. To me it was obvious sooner or later he was up to a clean run..
