Weird Territory - Shape! Help!: 2014-10-01 02:49:03

First let me show you the images:

1.) This is my territory and border line. (Hey, look! It's Scandinavia!)

2.) When I drew it, it occasionally had these weird extra things. (When you connect lines, but looks like you can add more.)

3.) When the territory is cut, (Ctrl+/) it now looks like this.

4.) (Image not included.) The territory has a strange appearance when uploaded to WarLight.

Anyone else had this problem, and knows how to fix it? Thanks!!!

P.S. I tried selecting the extra connecting things in the drawing tool, and hitting delete, to no avail.

try curving the points instead of having everything jaggedAF. that might fix it

It might, but that would end up looking different. I prefer this, and also I'd have to redraw. But only some of the points have the weird thing. I bet there is a way to fix it, but it may be complicated. If nothing else, I might have to redraw all.

The weird thing is, this is the first time I've had this problem and I've used jagged lines for decades...

Did you check to see if there is some weird issue with the vertices?

Ctrl+/ is only used to cut shapes and is not useful for creating warlight maps.

did you draw that all in one shot or did you stop and then start again at those points? Usually when I see it try to interpolate the end of the object it is because I didn't have a closed loop. I've not had it do it on that scale before though. You might make sure all those are actually connected. Maybe for some reason they didn't connect but are close enough to look connected.

I've had that issue before. I just deleted the nodes that went flying off and reconnected the last ones that were still normal, and that fixed it for me.

To: The King: Then what do you use to cut territories?? (I may have been doing this wrong all along!)\

To: The bloody 9: They are connected, and I did it in one shot.

To: Wolffe: That looks like it'll work. Tedious, but at least it'll keep its shape. Thanks!
