Right now I'm in vacation mode.
I have 60 multiplayer games over the intended time right now.
Furthermore I also read that my vacation mode expires the second I make a move in one of these 60 games.
Does this mean that in the cases of autoboot at 3 days (the majority of the games I'm in) I will now be automatically booted in all the other games just because I made one move in one of the 60 games ??
And if it doesn't work like that, how quickly do I have to move in all games before autoboot kicks in ?

It expires right after you submit orders in any of your games.
So, what you could do is prepare your moves in all games that have autoboot, but without submitting them (in different tabs or whatever), and once you are ready just submit them all at the same time.

dang thats genius ^, i just find someone to take my turns for me because of games that dont respect boot, to many for one hour, etc.

I only ask because one of my mates is on holiday (in vacation mode), but he's at risk of being auto-booted tonight, before he returns tomorrow evening. Will he remain in vacation mode, even though he's taken a turn, but as an AI?

I appreciate that, once he physically makes a move, he has an hour.

My question is more - if he gets auto-booted and replaced by the AI, is he registered as having taking his turn (and therefore has an hour to take his turns, even if he's not online), or does WL register that he's been booted, and his one hour does not begin until he physically takes a turn himself?

Personally I find the one hour rule a bit too simplistic.

While 1 hour might seem like a lot to a player with just 10 or 12 multiday games it's a true horror for someone who has to finish off 80 multiplayer games in that same time period.
Couldn't there be a rule that you get 1 hour to finish all your moves and an extra hour for every 30 multiplayer games above 25 or such ?
So after 55 games it's 2 hours and with 85 games it's 3 hours ??

Apart from the fact that I got booted needlessly in won games in 10 games already during my absence I think vacation is really demotivated in this server here with the current settings.

I think that this rule is called real-life call. I exceeded 50 games only at one point and boy, did I regret it. My performance dropped down significantly and I spent much too much time on wl, I think if you have >60 games it is time to start reducing game count fast.

I would love to...but my performances in tournies exceeded what I expected. Most tournies I go either to the finals or half finals so I can't seem to actually reduce it that easily.

I think that Wiki page needs to be updated. I have some more questions. I get the hour limit. What I want to know is every action that starts the 1 hour clock.

1) submitting an order - obviously this does
2) accepting a surrender?
3) joining a game?
4) declining a game?
5) joining a tournament?
6) declining a tournament?
7) chatting in a game?
8) chatting in a tournament?

IMO, some of those should not end it because they are not affecting an actual turn. I just want to be sure all the allowed actions during a vacation.

Any clarification would be appreciated as I have never taken a vacation (thanks to mobile app and Puffin browser).

May seem silly to ask, but why would you be booting or nudging a player when you're on vacation?

Already tested that and it ends a vacation. Probably counts as start of new turn.

I don't know why you would boot while on vacation, unless you were a jerk.

I just want all the possibilities answered in the wiki. Not what I WOULD do.
