Make sure you set your games to "practice" not "ranked".

Practice is far more better for diplomacys as more players aren't landgrabbers and tends to have less confrontations and bitch fights... and plus half the people get booted and just increases there boot rate and it counts as a loss on your profile which is also annoying.
Its a pet hate of mine of diplomacy games :(

If a diplomacy game is set to 'practice' I don't like joining, because then winning is not as important, and we all know winning is everything.

it does not seem so important to me whether a diplos is practice or not. its still a diplo
