First of all well done on writing that much, but after your double comment on 7) it made me wonder if these were copy-pasted or written on the spot, either way it is impressive.

I first started out writing all of the reviews myself at around midnight here in Australia.

When I was around making review of song number 6 my battery was only at 22% so I then spent the last half hour - 40 minutes looking through the following websites:
and
- www.prog-archives.com
Reading all the reviews to see which one best reflected my personal opinion on the song.

Maybe part of me reflecting to copy-paste was because I had already been working more then 2 hours on the whole thing and thus sort of grew tired of it.

I think this thread is great, I listen to stuff for most of the day, on Warlight or not, so I'm always interested when it comes to discovering new good music;) Just gonna share 3 random tracks for now

I absolutely love Led Zeppelin, and III is probably one of my favorite albums ever

Luxis, where did you find the song Gong Li? It says it was a the B-Side(?) of Scar Tissue, and I have listened to their Californication album hundreds of times, and never heard that song, very good though, like there other old songs. I personally prefer "By The Way" as an album, and Dozed being their best song, but always good to find more of their old songs :)

aper, first two songs a bit heavy, third one has a great video. I think ska is a very unappreciated genre though, everyone only ever talks about reggae. Which of the 3 waves is it? I prefer the first, more Jamaican wave, but the others are all still good :) Do you have any other good ska songs? (or reggae even)

Hedja - I don't remember where I found it, I've yet to own a RHCP album of my own, so not from there! I really can't decide myself which album is the better of pretty much everything they did, I love them all in different ways, and Dosed is indeed an amazing song too! :)

Yeah, the white funk band who play concerts naked are so sophisticated.

You're the first guy to name anything remotely hip (Zep and Floyd don't count, that's just lingua franca). I only have section.80 though, not the LP. ADHD is awesome.

So Dagen, I have finished your 100 song playlist, very good songs, a couple have been deleted from youtube, so you might want to replace them with other good ones :) also some were a bit random and not too good. Most were very good songs however. I found a couple years ago these 2 videos of guys dancing to 2 of the songs you have in your mix, you might like them :) I definitely recommend you watch them, the dancing is insane, and gives you an idea of what dubstep dancing might be like:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dtzO2xaP09M - Crave you (Adventure Club)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LXO-jKksQkM - Pumped up kicks (remix)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Puba9hZZKc - A much heavier dubstep song, I have never heard a drop like it, uses some strange instruments.

Luxis, do you still listen to their newer stuff? I heard part of some of one of their newer albums, and I think they changed and became much too rocky, I really like By the Way and Californication, but as far as I am aware those are the two good albums, if they have another with similar styles of music I would be very interested in hearing it and maybe even buying it :D

When I can't concentrate on WL there are a few songs that I know will help me focus

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W7c3wRzUUjs The guy from the band that won the mercury music prize reediting a great poet and soul singer.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=endscreen&NR=1&v=jEgX64n3T7g The song tv producers use for sad bits when theyre trying to be edgy.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8oQ5VEuHufI The song they should use.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DpVfF4U75B8 The guy from radiohead doing his best work yet.

Hedja! YOU LISTENED TO ALL OF IT <3
Yeah, I will get around to remaking the playlist, with updated songs and on DJ/Producing channel rather then my personal channel. But if I embark on that, I have to sort 1000+ electronic singles I have lying around, into genres, and it'll be a huge project. But I'll get around to it. :P

Good Dubstep dancers, are insane, I've seen the pumped-up kicks before, but Crave you is new, though I've seen the dance crew before. Thanks for the link!

Thank, I find dubstep quite often too boring, so I went with a more, chiptune/chill electronic vibe with my track. I made it using Ableton, which I cant wait to buy at some point, as the trial ran out...

On the topic of Music, some of my personal favorite rap and hip - hop stuff.

Tech N9ne, his label Strange music, in my opinion has the most talented group of artists: https://www.youtube.com/user/StrangeMusicInc?feature=watch
So if you have time to kill, there is a lot of good music there.

However some highlights... oh also, there is "mature" language, it is rap, wadda ya expect:
CES CRU:

Tech N9ne:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MW7EW8FJKW4

Krizz Kaliko:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-wfYPlTPaTU

A collab between the previous three artists:

Some Local artists:

Pip Skid:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lWWqi1AR5cA

Gruf:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nVn5RT54ZVg

And a political rap song thrown in to end this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tSjAI3KMS2I

Awesome music yall, I cant wait to listen to more!

Dagen, are there any other good dubstep dancers of whom you have the link? It is always interesting to see how people dance along to these kind of songs :)

Those songs are good, I especially like Gruf and the one where there are 4 guys rapping in one song.

This song is very good, yet only has 20,000 views on youtube, should be getting much more http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XbvKFADOqFE

Myhand, your song choices are pretty good, however the videos are a bit... revealing let's say :)

X, do you have any links for songs which you named? (haven't heard of those people before)
