I dont visit forums much but the strangest thing happened to me today , ive been making the europe map with 1x10 aotu start and random teams , No cards No noobs game for about 1 month or maybe more and tbh the same people play most times and we know and each other by now and all get along fine and we enjoy the game but now i noticed some guy by the name of Rusich made the same game and copied the exact same description as me and started making these games , thing kinda creeped me out as i never thought warlight could have such people on here and the funny thing is he also played in my games a few times and was always colour blue but now hes grey like me .

I had to hide my facebook link as i was scared hed make a facebook account exactly like mine as he truly has no common sense.

maybe he likes it i like some of the people nd i some times use there templates

I asked him why he copied the description and he said he likes the settings , i dont mind that its only a game but when shit hits the fan things get messy , there was no need to copy the description and name of the game , im just shocked at how low kids go these days.

i also made a template a 22 player diplo i play one maybe once a day because they take about three to four hours and this ruisch guy took my template and description but jacked the bonuses in his favor and took credit for the original idea i asked him nicely to not use my template like that because people will begin to hate me for the jacked up bonuses but instead he said "fuck you this was my idea". now im not that angry but id watch out for this guy because im not amazing but ive made roughly 20 diplo/custom scenario games on different maps and dont want them stolen

I don't see how copying the template (which includes the description if you weren't aware) is creepy, at all. Someone likes that setup, and wants to play it when you aren't online, or wants to play it without you: that is all.

As said before dont matter if you copy setting but why copy description and name of the game ?

Are you so stupid to make something up to bring people to your game ?

Nothing to do with "stupid".


It's more about laziness, and/or a mistake, the description and name are part of the template, simply not editing them makes them stay the same. Definitely "not" creepy.

So your telling me people have access to templates i have saved ?

If not the how is it part of the template ?

in settings you can use the template that that game uses

cogo, If there is a game you created, someone can click on "settings" on the left hand side, then on the blue writing which follows the words "template used:"
This then makes a new box which says "Create new game". then if he adds himself instead of you with open seats, the game is created EXACTLY as you made it, same name, same description. Not strange at all...

i was waiting for schizo the fake chameleon or piggy, the billywalsh :) the two guys who actually did copy other accounts to some extent - at least avatar and name... sort of..
