Potatochipelago is the first of the new levels with a market (1) nani! https://youtu.be/vxKBHX9Datw?t=6So Regio, Bork, Annihilation, Kenorland are all marketless! Must make for a rough start. I guess similar to Tutorial/Huruey/etc. I forget what the first level with a market is. Maybe Ursa?

Graemes, so far I only checked the lower new levels but Tulsi mentionned a 737 B armies territory in Hex Earth, which is probably one of the largest ones. https://www.warzone.com/Forum/590023-516-new-idle-levels?Offset=20Still, I wouldn't be able to beat the new levels without TS. Inspiring mercs seems like the fastest way to proceed (see also here's and Tulsi's discussion in the above thread) since some merc camps have very large (and overpriced) numbers of armies, but if you ran out of IM power or don't want to purchase any, there's no way of getting armies and/or money fast. Might get better on levels with 2+ markets but I doubt it. Upgrading army camps is VERY expensive, so you're stuck with low production even if you have good AC artifacts (I have epic SAC by now). Caches are mostly good but there are too few of them to be able to jump from one to the other or even clear a level. So... it takes a while but TS is quite useful for me. Combo with leg/insane time warp is interesting to reduce cooldown time. Or leg/insane IM artifact as pointed out by here (who would have ever thought that this might be thing...)

@Olja most of those new levels are a real pain. The last one is real fat with AP and once you get the trick down it's easy to beat relatively quickly if you can spend a couple IM powers, beat it 3-4 times then ascend and go at it again do that a couple times and you can super ass again. Your first couple playthroughs (until you advance army cash boost and maybe hospital boost) you'll want to fully up the three good hospitals and work on some tech before you clear the map. After you've got your advancements up you'll beat in a couple hours without any techs, upgrading hospitals or buying mercenaries (past your first few).
It's quite beatable rather quickly with two uses of one im power and one epic im artifact. If you want to only use the artifact it takes three uses at epic or two at legendary. It would still take two even at insane.
Some of this may change with a decent money cash artifact (money cashes on this map are fat) but IDK haven't tested it to see how much of a difference it would make.
I'd recommend using supercharged skip levels to get to Hex the first time and then put a very high priority to upping your skip level skill so you can get back to it without depleting more powers.
IDK when I will get my first insane but I'm not too worried about losing the triple strike. You can farm an epic one each super ass anyhow.

Any other advice gems anyone has for any of the new levels? Skip them. 6 skip levels from phase 3 + superpower skip level will get you to hex earth. I replay a couple of the good levels to get enough AP to do that before ascending the first time.

TLDR: Both can be used effectively. There are enough "big territories" on most maps accessible via either TS or QS to get good use of both.
Detailed response:
On my way to getting a Insane, I upgraded each of IM, TS & QS to Leg and used with existing TW & SAC, and found this strat to be super effective:
- Launch SAC - Get army caches on way to big territories & big merc camps - TS the smaller of the big territories - QS the second of the big territories - IM the biggest merc camp - Snag Army Camps along the way, use any money gained to upgrade Army Camps - Submit Clan Req (before SAC runs out) - Launch TW - Get more army caches on the way more big territories and big merc camps - Repeat when cooldowns permit
With this strat, I was able to finish HEH in <2 days without having to buy any mercs whatsoever. YMMV depending on your Adv's, but should be a similar experience. I was late phase 4 with maxed Better Hospitals, Alloy Values, IACP, Additional Mercs, Auto-Draft, Increased Army Caches, etc.
So I'd say get TS to Leg first b/c it's easier to use, then get QS. Then (eventually) upgrade TS to Insane, sac'ing QS in the process, then get another QS to Leg.

Ok, skipped a bunch of levels . . . trying Hex Earth now . . . let's see how this goes.
Anyone know where all the markets are?
I've found 4 so far. But think there's 5 on the map?
Borkou 2, central in N half of Africa Market with zinc, nickel, copper wire, screw Snow, mid-E Greenland, 3 in from E coast Market with aluminum, thorium, titianium, neodymium Bonjurd, Iran Market with silicon, glass, gold, bolt Southern Alaska, S-most tip of Alaska Market with twine, copper, rivet, lead
Also confirmed that the SAC+FC strat is garbage on Hex. Only 1 army camp and it's pretty weak, so even combined w/Supercamp, SP FC only gets ~1B armies, which is 1-2 territories. ie: doesn't materially help the cause to get to Greenland for the big merc camp.
