Dr. Stupid I agree about the factions. Somehow the edge of its gone. Especially for the players whose Factions are ravaged beyond recognition.

That being said, this Wolves game has lost its vibe. There are no public declarations nor exciting developments. Its effectively a Shadow Union vs the Wolves. The game is ultimately dulled by that in my opinion.

So where is the balance...

I am under the impression that in theory this game should be advantage village in the written format, even without PM's for the village.

The last game was exciting for sure, but only because the seers were picked off early. If the seers manage to survive just a couple of rounds and create a secret confirmed group it just become a walk in the park. I reckon a confirmed group of just 5 would be easily enough to control the lynch.

Also we are all very new to the game so are still learning. Our previous three attempts all had an incompetent village but we have mostly got it sussed now. With pms for the village this will happen again, I'm sure.

Look around the web at places that dedicate themselves to this game. They definitely Dont allow pms for the village. Presumably they have ironed out the rules through trial and error.

Also, it is so much more interesting when the seers have to say everything public. They can try to influence the vote but have to be careful not to reveal themselves.

As to the Factions - I think it was an interesting input to the game. Testing to see if new ideas work well over the original scenario. Why not, eh?

Factions make it a bloodbath. It takes weeks for one to finally win after so much lynch voting.

Factions were a welcome test but I think it's safe to say we won't want them again.

We need to look at the real game, as Balls said. NO PMs for the village. NO Wolf chat during the day. NO factions (I've never seen more than two village factions on EpicMafia).

Why factions ?! The only factions should be Villager and Wolf. I'm sure the thing that drives mafia is that the villagers dont know each other , but only their role.

Factions just makes the game last longer , in a negative way. When people start to lose intrest in the game they start to go inactive and miss their votes.

Alright. Pardon the lack of participation. I was busy doing other things while I waited for the seer to see the wolves.

The person we saw is...Traintown! Although there seems to be some confusion among our group with some conflicting issues. Apparently, our seer saw Traintown, but he was a villager. This means that either Dom is messing with us, or there is another hidden seer. This is not 100% confirmed yet. I will get more info asap

If there is indeed another seer, will you please contact me to tell me what wolf was found?

Another possibility is your seer is fake, keep that in mind. :)
