How many people of played in a game where everyone is polish except for you and the polish player either specifically gun for you because you are not polish or someone gets booted and everyone blames you...because you are not polish...its a little annoying. Anyone have similar stories?

You must have met some idiots, shit happens.

There are just as many in wherever you live, it's just that there is more Polish players here than from any other country (probably except from USA or something, although I have no idea how many players just speak English and how many speak it native).

You used to blame me for booting you all the time Willkay and no, I think the Polish players are way cool. I also make my move in plenty of time so I tend not to get booted.

I mean I played a lot of games with Polish people and didn't have any problem with them. They tend to talk in Polish (obviously) and some times I teamed someone who didn't speak English, so I used google translate to communicate with him.

And by the way, one of the players I communicate better with as a teammate is half-Polish.

I notice, through the use of translators, that the Polish speaking people tend to use more curse words on the open chat.

was shocked when i translated... kurwa i think it is.. in a 3v3v3 by my team mate, describing a douche noob team mate we were talking with that was using all the cards, and using them very poorly to boot :P

I'm Polish and feel the need to clarify ;)

First, it's quite a bad idea to translate English (or any other language, actually) to Polish. Polish has complicated grammar and automatical translators often come up with completely unreadable gibberish (although I guess you have to do it when you have no other choice). Polish to English, however, works well enough.

(the latter part of this post contains bad words, so if you're gonna be offended, stop reading)

Some Poles do curse quite a lot, I noticed it too, although I have no idea why :P. On the other hand, I've seen a good amount of "fuckers" and "bitches" thrown around in English as well. Certainly, it's not language-dependent, I even feel that English "allows" swear words more.

"Kurwa" basically do means "whore" (as Google Translate translates it), but it's mainly used as an universal swear word, like "fuck" or "shit" in English. It can also be used to describe someone who you would call an "asshole" or a "fucker" - we don't have many swear words, but they are all really flexible ;) For further reading, I recommend http://www.polishforums.com/general-language-17/polish-swear-words-139/ :D
