I have sent an e-mail two months ago asking Fizzer if I could help by translating the game to PT-BR (as I have quite some experience translating games and I likez WarLight, so I'd try to help as much as I could), and he replied:

Someday I hope to add [support for translations], but right now my current priority is working on the ios/Android version of the game, so I need to get that done first.

So yeah, don't expect anything too soon.

gnullbegg - you could have just ignored the stupid remark by min34, but you decided to criticize him.. in that case i'm obliged to tell you that unfortunately (for your point) despite the historical value of Netherlands for Indonesia, most of inhabitants of that country don't speak dutch and never will. they probably speak one of a few hundred native languages in addition to "indonesian" which is their "official" language - and even that might be difficult to achieve in such an ethnically varied country. Nevertheless your post might be helpful in terms of finding out possible target audience for Fizzer and in consequence what languages should he take into consideration, other than those we are able to translate by the WL community, after he decides to implement localization of the site.

Fizzer's thoughts when reading this: "How cute. They want to talk about translating my website. Let's see if they assign the work before they realize I don't want anything translated."

I didn't even think for one second about Indonesia's Dutch colonial history (because, as far as language goes, it is irrelevant - Indonesia's lingua franca is simplified Malay; noone speaks Dutch and almost noone ever did except ofc the few Dutch colonists themselves). All I saw was a misinformed opinion and great potential for a stupid flag joke.

I am calm, mate! all i meant was that his remark referred to the idea of dutch language being one of the most important ones not only for warlight. So if you replied to that, i assumed, that you argued, dutch indeed being more important, at least to polish. It might be true, might not, but Indonesia would be a bad example to prove one way or another :) cheers!
