you can get 41 players in, if you invite member 41, leave the clan, get member 40 to join and then reclaim the clan as owner

EDIT: also mail Fizzer to tell him the 40 member cap sucks and ruins clans

I gave him a tl;dr and asked to raise it to 60, I think that's an OK middle ground point personally as a new clan leader.

I did the math and only 34 clans were founded in 2018 and 21 in 2019 (including VG), while a total of 85 clans were founded in 2020 alone. 2018-2019 really was a drought for clan foundings. Only 5 clans (Varangian Guard, Cella, Polish Eagles, Dortmunder Jungs, and The Henko Corporation) even competed in Clan Wars 9 from the Class of 2019.

How many people in the big clans have AFK members that they don't want to kick? I'd imagine quite a few. They don't have to worry about it though, because it doesn't impact CW participation, they have other players that are active. My clan doesn't have that ability. Clans should be able to have 60 members, I shouldn't be penalized in this way for making a clan a little later then others. I've already sent Fizzer a PM about this and he said he'll look into it, I sure hope he changes it.

Also, nice stats. Lots of stats ITT to back up the update sucks for new clans.

60 is a must if you want 40 people for CW.
100 is a must if you want to have a diplomacy/ FFA clan.
