Hi! Here'''s some newbie questions.
1- When I hover over army it shows when I started this level (ex: 3 days 15H ago) but then also says "session age" which is 4 days something... whats that? the overall time spent on the map? meaning its higher cause I may have used a 10h time skip? 1.5- Which one does it count towards the level bonus (the +30% mine).
2- If I have full powerups and earn one it appears at the bottom of the "mine tab" as unclaimed, if I dont claim it what happens? Is it wasted and gone, or can it be earned when I replay the map? I have been using powers even if I dont need them because I am afraid of wasting them, but it was probably a mistake if it stays in the map. (I know you can only get them twice per map)
3- I missed my chance to ask during the live stream, theres no way I will get the legendary triple strike right? No point in saving the map just in case?
4- Was draft rewards nerfed? I feel like I was getting more in the past, im probably remembering it wrong, but I had the feeling it gave me at least half or more of my army earned if I AFKed for 10m. Now I afk, earn like 100m normal and only 30-36 draft? Not a big deal, just curious cause i get the feeling it changed but probably didn't.
Bonus - Am i the only one who enjoy warzone single player? I feel in love with it when it was warlight because of the single player, never tried pvp. I'm a weirdo I guess lol

Hi Lkcynric, I agree with krinid. Maybe just an addition to point 4: Fizzer wrote in https://www.warzone.com/Forum/549257-increased-draft-size: The number of armies you gain from drafting is the sum of two separate formulas: The fixed draft portion and the sliding draft portion.
The fixed portion is calculated based on your armies/sec number every time you draft. Therefore, the total armies gained from the fixed portion scales linearly with the number of times you draft as well as modifiers that increase your draft sizes.
The sliding portion is calculated based on both your armies/sec number as well as how many armies you've drafted in the past. The total armies gained from the sliding portion will approach but not exceed a percentage of the total armies gained in that level. Not sure if this relates to your phenomena but sometimes (after buying mercenaries, getting army caches or being idle for a few hours) its quite a bunch of armies compared to the army camp production. So far I haven't noticed any changes to that in my drafts.

Thank you so much to both of you! That helps a lot.
I guess I notice the draft since I changed my gameplay, so its probably related to that. I will look into that thread when I have time to understand better how it works, a quick glance a it left me a little confused, nut has tons of info to look into, thanks for sharing.

To expand (or just restate) what is going on with drafting:
When you draft, you get a fixed component of 90s worth of armies at your current army rate, modified by your draft bonus, and a sliding component that is the current contents of the draft pool (up to a map-specific cap). Unsurprisingly, armies gained from the sliding component are removed from that draft pool. The draft pool gains 0.15 armies (3/20 of an army) for every army that you gain by any means, including by drafting. It is not affected by the drafting bonus. Drafting can be done every 6 minutes (360s).
EDIT: Master Jz has a different formula for the sliding component in a later reply. The net effect is somewhat similar to what I state here, but I've yet to work through the details to convince myself of that.
Note that drafting compounds the 0.15 army gain. The effective multiplier, after enough drafting has been done, is not 3/20 = 0.15, but 1/(1 - 3/20) = 3/17 ~= 0.176+.
I'll ignore armies gained by caches and mercenaries in the following; they will end up contributing 3/17 to the overall draft, as per above. The frequency of drafting is essentially irrelevant to this.
The less frequently you draft, the less significant your fixed component is as a component of the draft. In the limit, with extremely infrequent drafting, the amount gained via drafting is 3/17 of your regular army income, meaning that it counts for 3/(3 + 17) = 3/20 = 0.15. Thus with infrequent drafting your armies acquired by drafting are approximately 15% of your army gains.
The more frequently you draft, the more significant that fixed component becomes, especially with compounding taken into account. If you draft as frequently as possibly, the overall draft component becomes 3/17 + 1/4 + 3/17*1/4 = 8/17 of the regular army income, meaning that it counts for 8/(8+17) = 8/25 = 0.32. Thus with optimal drafting your armies acquired by drafting are 32% of your army gains.

I understand it better now, but there are still some details i dont get. Can the exact ammount i draft BE calculated or only the fixed. Part?
When. I draft do i earn everything in the sliding pool or Just remove a Part Of it?
If i understand it correctly, i draft and lets say theres 1b in the pool, I earn lets say 200m, 50m from normal 150m from pool. Só 850 remain in the pool and i can still earn a lot next draft, right? And If i draft every 6m the pool gets lower and lower until it only hás what i earn in the 6m and its a consistant value. Is that it?
Since there is a cap to the sliding, its optimal to keep it under that value them by drafting often, also i guess its Best not to buy more mercenary than needed or it Will bê wasted by going over the cap.
I always thought the ammount used to conquer since the Last draft and also the army I have saved right now also increased drafting but i guess it was a coincidance.

Actually I didn't know the formula for the fixed portion, but looking at the number it fits perfectly to what I see in the game. You can actually compute the draft size by the following formulas: drafts fixed = 90 * p_ac * f_d drafts sliding = min{ 3600 * p_ac, 0.5 * ( 0.15 * a_e - a_sl ) } * f_d total draft = drafts fixed + drafts sliding, where the shortcuts mean p_ac - army camp production a_e - total armies earned a_sl - total armies from drafting (sliding portion) f_d - factor for increased draft sizes ( f_d = 100% + %tech +%skill + %artifact ) To know your 'armies earned' and 'total armies from drafting (sliding portion)' you need statistics level 1 or write it down manually ;) And If i draft every 6m the pool gets lower and lower until it only hás what i earn in the 6m and its a consistant value. Is that it? Correct. Since there is a cap to the sliding, its optimal to keep it under that value them by drafting often, also i guess its Best not to buy more mercenary than needed or it Will bê wasted by going over the cap. The armies are not lost. You just need to wait some time and draft and you'll get all of the sliding pool. Hence, no need to wait with buying to optimize the gain from the drafts.

The armies aren't wasted; it just may take multiple drafts to get them. Only armies you actually acquire are removed from the pool. The caps are usually large in any case, so you tend not to hit them until you go on an army-acquiring rampage in a draft period.

Warzone is a free-to-play battle royale video game released on March 10, 2020, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows. A version for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S has been announced to be released sometime in the future.[1] The game is a part of 2019's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and is connected to 2020's Call of Duty: Black Ops: Cold War and 2021's Call of Duty: Vanguard (but does not require purchase of either titles) and was introduced during Season 2 of Modern Warfare content. Warzone is developed by Infinity Ward and Raven Software (the latter later credited as the sole developer following the integration of Cold War's content) and published by Activision.[2] Warzone allows online multiplayer combat among 150 players, although some limited-time game modes support 200 players. Other modes include Plunder, Rebirth Resurgence, Buy Back Solos and others. The game features both cross-platform play and cross-platform progression between three games.

Can the exact ammount i draft BE calculated or only the fixed. Part? I don't know if the community already has reverse-engineered the formula but as far as I can tell from Fizzer's comments, you could in theory. What you need is: - your current army income
- your draft modifier
- your total armies earned, and
- your armies earned from drafting.
For the last three, having the statistics advancement (at least on level 2) helps immensely. Army income and draft modifier make up the fixed portion, all four make up the sliding portion. The exact formulas may be available, I haven't bothered with understanding drafts lately. Only, that boosting drafts is in general not worth it because either way investing in other benefits pays off more. When. I draft do i earn everything in the sliding pool or Just remove a Part Of it? The sliding portion will - so is my understanding - be capped with your army income (I can't say for sure whether or not there is a level-specific cap, too), so your sliding portion will only be worth as much as x minutes of production at most (again, I don't know the exact parameters, but I know that this cap exists). What I read points to the idea that you will just get the max out of the available pool and the cap. But it might also be that the formula is a bit more complex and you will get fewer armies if your pool is small for example, say, more a smooth curve that is capped with the x minutes. But that's just what I would have designed and not what this game has to use. Since there is a cap to the sliding, its optimal to keep it under that value them by drafting often, also i guess its Best not to buy more mercenary than needed or it Will bê wasted by going over the cap. Some of the more advanced players would advise you to do the exact opposite, and my logical conclusions do, too. Yes, drafting every 6 mins yields you more armies by drafts, that might very well be true. But this statement assumes that you will (a) always draft every 6 minutes (even in your idle time, so without instant auto-draft, this won't work) and (b) that you don't acquire armies any other way than army camps (if you claim caches or mercs this won't work, any more). The problem is that any other means of income create a pool of possible drafts and having a pool means that your fixed portion won't be above the 15%. Every time you idle, you lose your drafting advantage because army camp production catches up. Each time you claim an army cache, your drafting advantage decreases. Each time you buy mercs, your drafting advantage decreases. The most severe problem will likely be the idle argument for most players. On the other hand you need mercs to finish each level. Hence, you will buy then at some point. But if you wait until the very last second to buy them, you miss out on drafts. Because buying mercs will establish a huge drafting pool and if you finish the level before the pool gets exhausted again, you miss out on armies that would've led to the level being finished quicker. You have to give the drafting time to exhaust your pool every now and then to make drafting worth your effort. TL;DR: if you have the money, buy all mercs and buy then early such that you will get the additional 15% through drafting (every merc will then be worth 1.15 over time). And don't even try to keep your drafting percentage way over 15% because you just can't (if you are a human player) because every second action you take will decrease (if not cancel out completely) your built up advantage,

That 1 game was by mistake actually (didn't actually play it but it still counted). I only play single player, thats what I enjoy. And now idle too.

@berdan131 how can you be Level 59 without knowing how the WZ-Level functions and how meaningless it is? I'm Level 23 without ever having even touched a single multi-player match (other than perhaps spectating).

Not sure if double post is OK but cant delete previous and don't want to make a new thread just for this.
Here's more newbie questions:
1 - How do double craft/smelt artifacts works? If I only equip them after 4h of the craft when it reaches 100% will it work? or only work if I had it from beginning? I never got lucky so I dunno (they are just rare)
2 - Same question but speedy artifact. Say it takes 1h to smelt X... I have a 15% faster smelting. do I need to equip it since beginning or will it work if I use it at the middle of the smelt process? (1h to complete, I put the artifact when its at 50%, will it reduce the 30m 15%?) If I remove it say to capture some territory's and then equip again 1m later, do I lose a lot of the effect?
3 - Supercharge army artifact, is it 10X like the power? "Mine" artifact is it 20x?
4 - What happens when you use skip level mid level? you "finish it" and earn no AP? or Earn as if you abandoned the level?
I just wished I payed attention and found out early that increase sell price for "all items" = only "crafter items" and has no affect on smelted bars :(
Thank you all for helping me with my curiosity and always wanted to know too much.
