I'm not saying I don't know hotter people or that people on here don't have hotter mates. I'm saying by and large most message board posters through out these evaluations like they had any chance of dating supermodel types.

First off, what would be defined as a supermodel? To people with any knowledge on the fashion world a "supermodel" generally is a broader term then just the Victoria Secret angels. In my opinion most guys would find the majority of the supermodels not to their liking, since their selection is based on certain facial features which might look good on posters but are mostly not physically that attractive.

Secondly, since when does it require a certain amount of attractiveness of a gf/bf or spouse to be able to judge others ?? In the same line of reasoning one can not vote for a political party since he or she doesn't contribute enough tax to merit having a say in the way the tax money is used.

Thirdly, it's not like anyone in here is saying Alison is ugly. It's perfectly acceptable to say she's plain or average. Take away all the make up, the trained and falsely created role in the series and other factors which artifically enhance her sex appeal and you will indeed find she is average.

Fourthly, some people on here might value other qualities besides the physical or sexual appeal in their gf's/bf's and spouses. You're not going to live the rest of your life with someone merely based on looks. It would drive someone crazy

it's almost like, i don't know ... the degree to which beauty is perceived in alison brie is in the eye of the person who is looking at alison brie.
