Are there any alternatives to inkscape when map making? I want to make maps but don't want to download anything.

You can use anything that produced SVG files.

Almost everyone uses Inkscape, but some also use Adobe Illustrator. To my knowledge, those are the only 2 programs being used.

The community has searched for online SVG editors before, but found none.
If you do happen to find one, let us know!

I do however highly recommend you to just use Inkscape. All tutorials are based on Inkscape, and you can get support from us since we use it as well.
