Taking Fairfax (either of them) doesn't cause a crash. it must've been something else that was causing a crash on that move when I was trying it. I will suggest that you not even bother attempting to click on the cities on the big map to execute attacks. Just select the one you want to attack from hit "more info" then select the adjacent territory you want to attack and enter the number of units. Frankly this is the only way to do if you are rapidly expanding and want to hit those 4 cities within territories around or inside Farifax. Cause once you confirm an attack the arrow stays on the map, they obscure the other spots you want to attack and it becomes impossible to attack alll of them in one turn simply by clicking on the big map.
I don't think it's Randy's job to fix the map...it's the map creator's job. If they don't want to do it, his map adoption program idea would be the way to go.
Pinkbladder, if this map becomes available for adoption, are you volunteering to adopt it and fix it?
I'll be glad to assist anyone in fixing the big USA map (but don't want to do it alone since I have never designed a map before). Please post here if interested in doing it and having me lend you a hand.
