I think it's kinda pro to do it like that, though i prefer playing(winning) the old-fashion way. (Plus i doubt any half-experienced player would have trouble against this tactic)
And yes, BL players you don't want to play with.

if you are talking about team agmes in which someone in one team gets booted and the other team doesnt vote, i defend those guys (though i usually dont do it for more than 3 turns because then i get bored)
