When you start a quickmatch game your opponent should be of similiar level to you.
I didn't win any game yet because my opponents were lvl 40 or 50 and I am lvl3.

QM matchups aren't based on level but on the rating a player has for specific templates.

WZ will match you to another player with about the same rating as you. So if those level 50 opponents have a low rating as well, you can get matched up with them.

I've seen level 60 players that are worse than prod 2.0

The problem with Real-Time QM games is, that Warzone has a rather small player-base, so in order to not have exorbitant waiting times, you sometimes get matched with better/ worse players.

Though what could be changed, is that if a player joins QM (for example after long being absent or 1st time), their rank can rise to a certain number based on their level/ 1v1 winrate, to get them to their skill-level faster.
