I've played some 40 player lotteries (with an alt) and he won 2 of about 25..... He got lucky.... they weren't rigged. He is a decent player but he like the high level status. Nothing cheap about him

@AlterEgotist: Those are some harsh words brother. A no-life and cheater? I have never cheated. I am a point-chaser, but have always played well within the rules. There have been many cheaters on here and we have all seen them go down in flames.

You are right that I play an insane amount of games. I work at home and have a lot of down time in between calls so I piss away the time on here. As far as being a below mediocre player, I wholeheartedly disagree! I am a solid mediocre player. :) Seriously though, no one that has been on WarLight more than two weeks will correlate level with skill. I certainly have never made such a claim. I think some people on this thread that have mentioned it were doing so tongue-in-cheek.

I have no problem with point chasing in a legit way like Mike, so long as they know it doesn't mean they are the best player. I think we are all missing the point that the rankings page should not be a measure of total points. I think we all agree on that.

The clans should be ranked on how many points they have gathered in the last 30 days.
Next to that: the amount of player in a clan should be limited to 99 players.
This will encourage players to score a lot of points and encourage clans to have active members, what should also improve the quality of the clans.

The improve the quality of the clans > more players liking this game.
Incurige of activity > more income out of the ads.

I don't think warlight should try to make a clan ranking based on what clan the best players/performance has.

Anyway, fizer wont consider changing until a decente alternatie is found (even then i doubt he will do anything as he has a tendency to ignore the hanges proposed in the forums), and the ladder stats arent as comprehensive as the system should be (though orange's suggestion is the best i found so far, better than the current system, better than ladders, but not amazing)
