I for one don't really want to make it into a warlight map!

You could try using google maps to find cities/sites or other names for nearby territories, or use some local knowledge if you live there :P

I just checked. There are exactly 3176 territories. Those are each different commune in Romania. Don't trust Yeezus with this map, he ruins it by changing the commune names. You could probably create it in a year or so.

And he'll probably slap an ugly Yeezus tag on there somewhere

These sorts of maps (a single county with loads of territories) don't usually do amazingly well in terms of ratings. They're made very well, but they're not great map ideas, I'd say.

Now try to find thenames of those Romanian municipalities.

It's simple enough, if you use Yandex maps and Wikipedia proficiently enough.

The only real ones that are impossible are the 5 that Insert Cyrillic Letters Here mentioned. Those divisions are akin to city, and almost impossible to hunt names down. D=

Well, Vojvodina already has the city names in it; somebody could name that.

Those territory names are the absolute worst, though.

Clement, that cornwall map shouldn't be too hard to make by the way. Sorry I abandoned this thread guys :P I just forgot about it (what would make for a nice update is if they add notifications for replies to one's thread). I see what you mean about large maps, personally I couldn't be bothered to play ones with more than 2000 territories. qwed117, thats amazing (and slightly worrying) that you counted all those territories :P and it shows that it could just about be the right size for the biggest map on warlight (about 0.1K more than the USA map and 24 territories fewer than the (enforced) absolute limit). So if anyone actually wants to make the biggest map, it seems as though the one I found is right for the job. It would be worth considering whether army numbers actually fit in the territories though :D

@ TeeMee, I know it wouldn't be hard, it looks like it would be a good map, but if I made it, it would take too long as I often leave a map for a few weeks and I don't have enough time to look up the names for each individual territory. However, I think it would be a good map.

Since there was already a thread for giving maps to other people, it would be pointless to make a new thread.I left it there for someone else who puts more of their time into making maps and would therefore get it done quicker.
