I'm so sad that anyone would even want that name ... on a day like to day it is even worse.
Morally, Stalin was worse than Hitler.
Ethically, Hitler was worse.
( I hope I'm saying that right )
Stalin, because he killed 2.5x as many people ( supposing Stalin killed 20 million and Hitler killed 8 million, of course ).
Hitler, because he persecuted people specifically for their race or beliefs.
It's important to note that no single person caused WW2, because WW2 was caused by WW1, and no single person caused WW1. It's understandable that people would hate the name or mention of it, but people never bother themselves over something like my own namesake or Sierra Leone genocides or Burundi genocides or Congolese genocides. Hitler was a man with a very dirtied perception, fueled with rage and patriotic fervor, as well as desire for his own personal agendas. His party was basically just an extension of his will. It's also important to note that without him, modern Germany wouldn't be the powerhouse it is. While his goals were dark, at LEAST he had goals. Many of the genocides we see in Africa are just because they are different ethnically, with no real purpose. As sick as it is to say, Hitler is not who we should blame, we should blame the Treaty of Versailles, and looking for the further root cause, the Nationalism that was crawling everywhere in Europe.
