We will be hosting a new game in a week or 2... we're down to 55 players.
Current game here:
https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=30592214I am looking for your feedback!
Previously this was called a "diplo" but actually it is much more strategic than that and there is little to no RP. RP is discouraged, won't be using the term "diplo" anymore.
For example, with the current settings you can either play "tall" or "wide".
I am looking for more ways to attract "serious" players who actually play with more skill/strategy.
This first game is more of an experiment... it has been interesting and we've had loads of fun.
Here is our "game doc" where we track everything that happens in the game (wars, alliances, rule breakers, etc):

https://discord.gg/ZkVHASf8hq Below is a list of changes I've come up with to make the game better:
#1. Add army cards to reward active players
#2. Change attack order to be based on when you set attack orders
#3. Use this map
https://www.warzone.com/Map/32130-Hearts-Iron-IV-European-theatre (slightly larger version of current map)
#4. Change turn time from 3 days 4 hours to 2 days flat.
#5. Decrease starting territories from 11 to 8 or 9.
#6. Require mandatory discord participation
#7. Turn video updates will be limited to 5 minutes
#8. Future games will not be practice... so you can get your wins and points
#9. Possibly we might make it an actual team game, where you choose your team mate at the start (ie, with real slots, vs the ally system we currently have...)
