I read most of the posts in the thread, but not all of them, so I apologize if this suggestion was already made earlier.

Instead of changing the main structure of CW (either by allowing multiple games in a day, decreasing the number of players per day, etc.), why not allow any clan members to play in a given day? So instead of having a set 40-player roster that is the same for the entire season, any member of the clan can take one of the 40 slots for the day, as long as the clan doesn't exceed 40 games in a day. This would only increase participation, as it would allow some more casual players to get in when they can.

This would only work by decreasing the number of games per day, because few clans have more than 40 members. But I think it would increase participation for the casual CW player, but also take some of the pressure off of the die-hards who get stressed about playing every day.

Fizzer may not like this suggestion because it would mean handing out more Idle bonuses for participation (because theoretically, a clan like Cats could have all 478 members participate in a season), but he could nerf the rewards accordingly.

Would love to hear positive or negative feedback on the suggestion...
