I hovered over an achievement I'd just gotten and I'm pretty sure I saw a message that said this pop up for about a second.

Is this really what you're doing? Now I'm going to be penalized points because I don't want another virus on my computer?

Let's get this straight, you aren't going to save yourself from viruses by using an ad-blocker.

With that in mind, be greedy and deny Fizzer money and get penalized for it, or whitelist Warlight in your adblocker.

I haven't been able to reproduce this, but if true its certainly frustrating that I'm getting hit in points because I didn't whitelist warlight before 2.0 came out. (it is now).

I find it rather annoying for two main reasons:

First i didn't know about it until i randomly put the cursor over the achievement when i earned it, so i lost point without even knowing. There should be a warning.

And second because even after disabling the ad-blocker for this site (i can see the ads in game and wherever) and reloading i still get reduced points...

You probably just got reduced points for those games. If you whitelist WarLight, I'm sure that any games which come after this will be normal points.

I just completed another game and still got reduced points. Maybe i don't know how to properly disable it, but i'm seeing ads while playing games and on the forum so i thought i properly whitelisted warlight.net

My last 5 achievements have given me between 200 and 500 points. Before that, they were between 2,000 and 3,500. So it looks like you only get 10% of the points.

After a while, and not changing anything i seem to be getting full points now, i guess it just takes some time for the server to register you aren't using an ad-block.

Lol, I love it when people say using adblock is "greedy" - yeah, I'm keeping all that money for myself! I mean...I'm trying to make money instead of Warlight! Wait, no, that doesn't make any sense either...I would never ever click one of the repetitive, stupid fucking ads on this site that aren't relevant to my interests, so I turn them off so I don't have to deal with them loading and otherwise annoying me! Yeah, that's it.

Adblockers do save you from viruses/scams etc. such as those stupid shoot iphones and click for a free xbox i accidently clicked those and my avast went off. Adblockers do help from viruses/scams and I advise using them to protect yourself from scams and annoying pop ups.

They only protect you if you are stupid enough to click on them in the first place! It's not like there are pop-up ads or other sneaky types of ads, just the standard, easily ignored ones.

Actually ads to pop-up and they are really annoying and next sneaky typers of ads do exist sometimes just clicking to teh side of your video makes you accidently bring you to another page which is a nausiance and is common.
