Fizzer if possible at all, may I request a small, but important change to map Afro-Eurasia Gargantuan:
- currently territory Crimea peninsula is part of Bonus "Russian Federation"
+ could territory Crimea be changed to be part of bonus "Ukraine"
This change would be both correct and fair.

Adding to Just_A_Dutchman_'s comment You can leave a review of the map to inform the map creator of the change request. Just bear in mind the map could be a different time period than what's current, so read the map creator's description to be sure of the creator's intention

Imperator (the map creator) was last only 3+ years ago, so I think this map will just stay as a reminder for how the world once was.

it does not show any state "how the world was". It is a modern day map. Crimea was part of Soviet Union, but map shows post Soviet stage. East Germany is correctly shown as part of Federal Republic of Germany, for example. After break-up of Sovie Union, Crimea has been part of Ukraine, and never part of Russian Federation. Even if Putin tries to claim otherwise.

Technically I am a bit surprised that a regular idle level should not be changeable by mods/admin /dev. This is not some exotic "private" map.

I'm pretty sure this isn't about "being able to change" but rather about "not wanting to mess with" maps. Just look at the number of maps available in WZ. No single person wants to be responsible for maintaining them all.

That said, I feel like SOMEONE (not necessary Fizzer himself) should be able AND willing to maintain any maps that WZ "promotes" in terms of for example WZC Single-Player and WZI. Copper Creek Castle and a few other idle maps have missing links between territories. And the map makers of most of these maps aren't available anymore.

I agree with Phoenix here, but just wanted to state that having such a group of players is not easy either. Those players will also quit at some point and must be trusted fully by Fizzer because having such power comes with great responsibility.

I'm for example one of the most active mod creators (if not the most) of the game atm and I'm putting in a lot of effort making mods and improving them. We have the same problem with outdated mods and I kinda would like to see a similar solution regarding mods. I have no doubts I would be one of the players that would be asked to be in that group but i personally cannot promise i can maintain my current efforts due to my study and all.

For maps it would be more likely to have such a group, but still don't think it will happen anytime soon

Fizzer intentionally makes no judgements about political correctness of user and clan names, so it's only consistent he doesn't do it with maps either. While I understand your concern, there are plenty of far more critical things to be found on this site.

I agree with @alexclusive.
If absolutely necessary Fizzer can make a new map that is the same, except with the requested change.
But he doesn't do that to user and clan names so why should he do that to this one specific map?

@Phoenix, There's also another factor, that most map creators don't want people touching their maps. Some people have asked for the original files for the map so they can make a variation of the map, and the most common response is: "Nope, make your own. Not giving you my files so you can change a few minor things, slap your name on my work and take credit for it."

People cling to their map ownership rights tightly, and just simply don't want people messing with their work.
