Thank you guys for the elaborate explanations. to sum it up, if the 0 move order is seen by enemy, then if I am playing against someone who employs the zero move order, then I can also see it and gain the same intel. Is that right?

It doesn't need to be seen by the enemy. You probably don't want it to. It's just that the 0-move gets you one extra move worth of intel on move order. I usually execute intel moves as transfers within my own territories away from the border.

The Intel move is what this thread is about: tacking on an invalid move (e.g., a transfer of 50 armies from a territory that has 0 armies) to the end of your orders to get one extra move worth of move order intel.

Imagine if Fizzer fixes the glitch after that going public.

I don't see a workaround for this. Not that it is needed in the first place, anyway. You can entirely remove all non executed moves shown in order table, but that sounds horrible since you want to be able to see all your original orders, not just the ones that succeeded.

Thats a smart use of the sequence how the moves are meant to be executed. I dont think that goes as a glitch.

After some thought, I doubt it's a glitch. It's just a consequence of how the game engine works. You will get wacky conditional moves like this when each player can submit many path-dependent orders per turn.

The game can't simply check whether the next move will be valid before advancing (flipping the move order), because the validity of that move may be affected by the intervening moves of the opponent. So advancing after, rather than before, valid moves makes sense.

E.g., say the moves are (in 0% SR, standard kill rates, 1ASG):
m1: A attacks Terr4 from Terr1 with 8v8
m2: B attacks Terr1 from Terr2 with 3v3
m3: A attacks Terr3 from Terr1 with 0v1

These would be executed m1/m2/m3, turning m3 into an unintentional intel move because Terr1 has only 1 army remaining in 1ASG.

But m3 becomes invalid because of m2, so you can't just execute m1/m3/m2 to avoid the intel effect of the invalid move.

There is one workaround though: it's impossible to submit an intel move with deploys, because the client simply doesn't let you deploy an invalid amount that the server would then correct to 0. Similar client-side validation against obviously invalid moves could end the intel move, at least in its simplest form, although it would break for Multi Attack and such. Given the work it would take to build this validation correctly, I doubt we'll see it implemented.

@Let's_fight, especially when you understand how warzone orders are programmed to work.

Fun fact: Move order reverses even if there are only one player's orders left to play. That's how you can manipulate the first order after Order Delay Cards are played. In example:

Order Delay Card
Move1

Order Priority Card
Order Delay Card
Move1

Are completely different move-sets in terms of Move1 execution.

Exactly. The key takeaway from this is to understand that if Njord made 2 moves instead of 1 before OD card, then the move order after it would have changed again.
