Can you describe the relationship between your amount of games, your amount of meetings and your response time to our questions? ;)
I could, until I tried answering this question.
First try my computer froze, losing all my progress. Second time shortly after, my computer froze again, luckily without that much progress lost.
Then I got ill, so I didn't find the time.
Third try I started on another computer, and someone else closed the browser while my post was almost finished.
Fourth try the computer restarted after an update while I was halfway.
Then I got ill again and just lost the motivation to try again.
Then I posted the placeholder twelve days ago, after which I was very busy at work for nearly two weeks.
So the actual updated relations is:
Expected Time to post the next answer = T0/(number of boring meetings+1) +A*(how many nearby deadlines I have at work) + B*(how busy I am at home - 1) + C*(how ill I am) + D*(how often my computer freezes/crashes/restarted)
It is independent of the number of games that I'm in actually.
In this, T0 is the time it'd take me to answer if I don't have boring meetings at work and all else is OK (see below). T0 is therefore probably a day or two.
A is not large, but when I have a lot of deadlines, it will result in not being able to answer while at work and only while at home. Therefore count another day or say per deadline, so A is approximately 1.
B is similar, not too large, but it will shift the moment to answer to home rather than home. If "how busy" is a percentage with 100% (or 1) meaning no free time at all and 0% (or 0) meaning I got nothing to do, then B is probably somewhere around 5. However, this has limited impact as the percentage is almost always between 90% and 100% for months now, so even when I got some free time, that only reduces the time to answer with half a day. For scaling purposes, I'd rescale how busy I am at work, with the minus 1 (or minus 100%) so T, discussed earlier, is interpretable.
C is large. If I'm ill, and I have been a few times recently, it easily adds a week, sometimes more, sometimes less, but on average, a week. So C is 7 or so.
D is not too large. My computer had lots of issues, so the "how often part" is easily in to 20 to 100 range or so. Given that I lost it three times due to this reason, and it added a few days every time because I got discouraged, I'd say D is 2 or 3 or so.
So final formula:
E[T] = 2/(MB+1) + DL + 5*(HB-1) + 7*TI + 2.5*CF
With T = time to answer (in days), MB = boring meetings (count), DL=deadlines (count), HB=home busy (percentage), TI=times ill (count), CF=computer freezing (count)
