What is a triple letter?

Chimmy picked to get the Triple Letter bonus on the map. I have no idea why it is titled that or anything, but it doesn't matter. Chimmy got the bonus for +5. Done.

I really can't believe they managed to spell triple wrong, twice, and not have someone correct it during any of the testing of the map.

True. How do you spell triple that badly? And not have autocorrect or at least a human correct you?
