maybe you can also have a leaderboard of with who wrote the most lines of code :p

(it might be cheating, but I've used a file for some mods that was already a 1000 lines xD)

How about most characters instead of most lines?

If wishes could be fishes. I would be at the top of this leaderboard :p.
I will take this into consideration as quality of mods are of course important

How about we vote on what mods should even be counted? (; Some of them ... are published mods, but I wouldn't have any issue if they disappeared entirely, lol

And actually I'd say a better metric than most lines of code would be Quality mods only with Least lines of code. Remember that 1 factor of mods in Fizzer's mind at least is the burden it puts on the WZ servers, so using more code is probably going to impact it more.**

** = generally, obviously what the code does is more important, a randomly execute infinite loop (can't do it every time else Fizz would never publish it) would be the worst offender, or inefficient sorting or counting mechanisms, or something that cycles through every territory (or army!) to do or track changes$$

$$ = one of the mods I'm working on needs to do this, track movement of every army to allow/deny movements appropriately@@

@@ = but apparently Dutch already wrote it and is just waiting for a visual glitch to be fixed, so non-issue now, I guess

I agree with krinid that efficiency is the key detail here, but that's really hard to measure :)

Cos Warzone has so many different options and mods, it's very easy to make wrong assumptions towards mod efficiency.

A mod might be really fast on a big map with a few amount of bonuses, but really slow on a small map with lots of bonuses
